Shoetopia starts tomorrow and although there are gazillions of adorable shoes to be had, I decided to show off some gacha goodies you can snag at this event along with these nicely textured flats from Ingenue. From poses to decor to Slink addon nails, the gacha prizes are wonderful and those of you who know me best know that I am a bit of a gachaholic so I had to play mostly all of these machines. Some of the machines have even generously donated a portion of their earnings to Shoetopia's chosen charity, Soles4Souls. Right now, this fabulous charity is aiding those affected by the tycoon in the Phillipines so be sure to stop by the gachas and try your luck after you've exhausted yourself trying on all the pretty shoes. Fall Into Fall With Al Vulo

Well, September is here and that means Autumn soon will be too. On SL, it seems like Autumn has already started and that's perfectly fine with me because it's my favorite season. I love the warm, rich colors of the foliage and the cool, crisp weather so much. Good thing for me that this round of Collabor88 has a Fall Into Fall theme this round so there were lots of goodies for me to pick up to prepare for the upcoming season like this fabulous wool coat by Ison and this vibrant satin skirt by ur favorite one.

Catarina Enjoys Some Cocoa

Hey readers! It's been awhile since I've done a skin post but I just had to show off this tan skinnie from a new to the grid store called -Skins-. So Blue

The weather has been really icky here the last few days and it combined with other things have put me in a dreary, blue mood. I'm not usually the emo type, I try to make my SL a happy place but sometimes you can't help but feel a little sad so that's been me for the last 24 hours or so. Since I am in a gloomy mood, I decided to do a blue/grey post and [trs] recently released these softly textured asymmetrical sweaters in a blue/grey pattern so it was a win. I paired it with Collabor88 cuteness from LaViere in the form of this cutesy little crown and this pert new hair called Katie. When I saw it, I knew I'd have to have it because Katie is my RL name and I love the caramel tone so much, I'm sure I'll be back to LaViere for more hair awesomeness.The rest of my look is in the form of freebies. The necklace is the newest group gift from Sweet Leonard (yes, there is a 60L fee to join but it's well worth it!) and the mesh jeans are a hunt prize from Ricielli. Yay for fabulous freebies!

I wanted a rainy sim to take my pictures in and while browsing Flickr, I noticed that one of my contacts had posted pictures of this very different looking place. It's called Cica and it's fabulous. I felt like I was in a child's drawing and it was so much fun to explore this sim. Of course, my favorite part of this location was the heart shaped rain falling from one section so that's where I took my pics. If you're looking to visit a fun, artistic place, be sure to check out this fantastic place. It surely brightened my mood a little.

Vanity is Calling

Heys all! Just a little post to show off this pretty skin that's a new release from Mirror's Enigma. This skin named Vanity comes in 3 colors but I liked the glowy feel of the tan so I'm showing that off with two makeups that you can nab. Also included in the pack are three nail polish layers and two sets of eyes. Yay for extras!  If you're looking for a new skin, be sure to check out Mirror's Enigma.

Oh, and check out this cute chair and wall art I picked up from What Next. It's their Homestuff Hunt prize and is so nicely done. Reflections

The Mesh Around Hunt started the other day and I saw lots of cuteness on the feeds so I had to make a list and go get what I wanted. So far, my favorite hunt find is this pretty hair from .ploom. called Daisy. Daisy comes in the indecisive pack (so generous!) and has a texture change hud for the flowers and hair ties. I love the hippie vibe of this pretty hair so much and it reminds me of one of my fave wifeys, Kimbra, so it's a win. If you're looking for mesh cuteness, check out the Mesh Around Hunt.

I'm taking pics in the newest skybox offering from Trompe Loeil. This pretty skysphere is available at this round of Fameshed and features a pretty reflection pond as well as nicely done scenery. I believe that designer said she was inspired to make this from the television GoT which me and almost all of Plurk is in love with so if you're a GoT fan, you'll definitely love this. It comes with or without the stand so if you're low on prims, it's still an option so be sure to head on over to Fameshed and check this out.
