The Nutcracker ~ An Arcade Photography Contest Entry

"Before long, it was time for all the guests to leave. Marie reluctantly said good night to her nephew and went to bed but she couldn't sleep. She kept thinking about her Nutcracker doll. She slipped out of bed and tiptoed downstairs where the Nutcracker was still resting on his little bed. She cradled the Nutcracker in her arms and fell asleep on the sofa in the parlor. 

Suddenly, Drosselmeier appeared out of the darkness. He gently took the Nutcracker from Marie and fixed it. Just as he was placing it back in her arms, she started to wake up. The lights on the tree began to flicker and Drosselmeier appeared on top of the grandfather clock, flapping his arms like a giant owl..."

Trick or Treat w/Perfect Wardrobe

*Shoves my candy pail in your face hoping for more chocolate and says "Trick or Treat"* Perfect Wardrobe started back up yesterday with a Halloween theme and there is lots of cuteness to be had. From adorable mesh dresses to sexy heels, you know you're gonna fall in love with something holiday themed. My fave item this round was this pail that comes from Focus Poses. It's part of a set that includes witch themed broom poses too but I just wanted some sweets so I'm showing it off. The pail and the broom (not shown) are texture change  so if you want to play around with them you can. My Cuite Helper :D

Hi readers! Last nite, I applied to be a blogger on a new site called Living The Cute Life SL. It's a compilation blog of things that the bloggers think are cute or showing off their own cute style. I think this is going to be a fun blogging side project for me and I'm thrilled to be a member of the team. Below is my first post there and you can check out more from the other bloggers here!

Since today is my day off, I decided to head over to the market and pick up some things. As you can see, I have a bit of a sweet tooth and bought lots of cookies but hey, I also bought some veggies too so it all balances out. While struggling to open my door, this cute little fellow jumped on my shoulder offering to help. Hmm, maybe he likes cookies too or better yet, maybe I can push some of these veggies off on him. *Giggles* Both of these fun little accessories to my LOTD can be found at The Arcade event. If you haven't been there yet, you know you wanna go so get to it!

Now let's focus on the clothes. The jacket and tank are new releases from fri.day. I love the tailored fit of this jacket plus the little buttons down the front make for a simple but fun added touch. It's available in a variety of colors and as you can see, it's good for layering and mixing and matching with the tanks which come in a sheer and regular version included. I added this fun polka dot skirt that is a new release from Censored. I love denim minis and this one is a happy edition to my wardrobe. Tickle the Ivories

*Skims my fingers across the piano keys enjoying the sound they make* Vintage Fair opened yesterday and as soon as I saw this beautiful satin dress with lace embroidery from Bonne Chance, I knew it had to be mine. It's the kind of nostalgic clothing I love, sexy yet sophisticated, so it found its way in to my inventory and I haven't taken it off since.

I paired it with this gorgeous Veronica Lake inspired hair that Wasabi Pills has out for the event. Since I've been rocking these pretty turquoise eyes that are the newest giftie from Ikon, I figured I'd make sure they really popped against the ivory of this dress so I'm rocking this hair in red. I love the combined effect so much and just wanna stay like this forever. *Giggles*

Shut Up & Drive: A L'Armoire Sneak Peek

Hiya readers! I've got a sneak peek at some upcoming hotness from the newest discount room to hit the grid, L'Armoire. Walking in a Winter Wonderland: Perfect Wardrobe Style

Short post tonight because I have a headache that won't quit. I blame it on my Christmas lights which don't want to stay up. I have a brick front and can't use hooks and tape is not working so yep, they have me stressed. Ah, I'll figure something out but anyways I wanted to show off another look from Perfect Wardrobe's Winter Wonderland round. This is seriously my favorite round so far because there is so much wintery cuteness to be had. Just look at the pic yourself!
