Sweet Dreams

Just a little LOTN post before I wander off to bed. Censored is having a Kawaii Hunt and has placed out 10 cupcakes filled with goodies that you can pick up for 20L. I'm also showing off this sugary sweet Al Vulo skin that is available at this round of The Dressing Room Fusion. Kissy Went Exploring Again!

Last night, I saw SL photographer, Ziki Questi's pics of BCC on Flickr. While I'm a huge fan of the adorable creations Bonne Chance puts out, I never realized how beautiful the sim was so of course, I had to see it for myself. The sim is breathtaking in any windlight and there is so much to explore that I probably spent over an hour there. My favorite part of the sim was the train tracks running down the back end of the sim. I loved the contrast of the warm colors with the cool aqua sky and icy trees. If you haven't been to this sim, pay it a visit.

My outfit is a mishmosh of goodies I picked up across the grid. Censored is having a birthday event and this dress along with 4 other patterns is available for only 100L. I layered it with newness from Maitreya in the form of this soft sweater. This adorable hair is from D!va and is available at this round of Collabor88 and my matching jewelry can be picked up at Perfect Wardrobe and by joining Izzie's group.

Now, I gotta talk about the poses. As much of you can see, I don't have the normal twig thin shape that a lot of avatars have. I like some curves and because I like being a little curvy, I sometimes have issues with poses. Some time ago, I got the idea to try out male poses and they work so well. The ones I'm using for this post are available at Katink and are from their new Cole pack. Vampiress

As stated in previous posts, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I like dressing up all scary like and handing out treats. On SL, it seems like Halloween is a month long celebration so there are plenty of opportunities to dress however you want and there are lots of events catering to the need to dress up. Once I go this awesome mesh dress with a black lace shawl from LD Major that is available at the BlackOnly event, I decided to be a scary vampire. This fabulous subscriber gift from Amacci and fun blood makeup from Censored that is available at the Scary Face Gacha Event completed my look. If you are looking for some Halloween treats, be sure to check out these stores.

Location today is the London Community. This sim is participating in a Halloween hunt but there are plenty of spooky surprises and terrifying places to explore. Of course, all vampires feel most comfy in a cemetery so I decided to hang out here and see what kind of trouble I can scare up. You definitely need to check out this fantastic location.

Fall Freebies!

Hi readers! I've got a little looksie at two awesome freebies you can nab right now. First off, the dress I'm wearing is the newest group gift from Censored. I love the cutesy bow and the bright teal color so much that I just had to show it off and these newly released pumps from The Secret Store matched perfectly so yay! I feel so professional in this outfit that I wanted to play naughty secretary but instead.......

I decided to show off this fun prop from Katink that is their Trick or Treat Trail hunt prize. This adorable Autumn scene is perfect for taking pics. Autumn In Innocence

Hi readers! I've got a quick LOTD post for you with some cuteness I picked up from ur favorite one at Collabor88. This beautifully textured cardigan and dress number make me feel like a schoolgirl and since Autumn means back to school for most, I figured I'd show it off at the lovely Vespertine sim everyone has been blogging from. If you haven't visited this sim yet, be sure to. I only walked a little ways in and was stunned by the gorgeous work this designer did. I am sure I'll be back to explore some more.

This pretty skin I'm wearing is the newest release by Censored. In my opinion, Censored makes the cutest blonde skins and this one is no exception. It comes with 7 different makeups, one of which is a base skin, and a bonus lipcolor. The last skin in the closeups is the bonus lipstick layered on the base skin and my absolute fave of them all. I love the softness of the features of this skinnie so much that I just wanna stay a blonde forever. Speaking of Censored, check out these awesome poses I used for this post. They are also newness from Censored. I loves me some poses and these ones fit my body perfectly so it's a double bonus! Yay! Oh, since I started including location urls to the places I blog from, I was wondering if I should also include what WL I use. If you read this and want to know what WL I use, just leave a comment. I am a huge fan of WL's even if my laptop's graphics aren't that good and love to play around with them but I know when I'm reading other blogs and see a pretty pic that I sometimes wonder what WL they are using. My Cuite Helper :D

Hi readers! Last nite, I applied to be a blogger on a new site called Living The Cute Life SL. It's a compilation blog of things that the bloggers think are cute or showing off their own cute style. I think this is going to be a fun blogging side project for me and I'm thrilled to be a member of the team. Below is my first post there and you can check out more from the other bloggers here!

Since today is my day off, I decided to head over to the market and pick up some things. As you can see, I have a bit of a sweet tooth and bought lots of cookies but hey, I also bought some veggies too so it all balances out. While struggling to open my door, this cute little fellow jumped on my shoulder offering to help. Hmm, maybe he likes cookies too or better yet, maybe I can push some of these veggies off on him. *Giggles* Both of these fun little accessories to my LOTD can be found at The Arcade event. Now let's focus on the clothes. The jacket and tank are new releases from fri.day. I love the tailored fit of this jacket plus the little buttons down the front make for a simple but fun added touch. It's available in a variety of colors and as you can see, it's good for layering and mixing and matching with the tanks which come in a sheer and regular version included. I added this fun polka dot skirt that is a new release from Censored. I love denim minis and this one is a happy edition to my wardrobe. Hey all! I've got a Disney inspired LOTD to show off built around this adorable mouse ear headband I got from this round of TDR. It's by La Gyo and you can still nab it so if you are a fan of Mickey Mouse, you might wanna go get it. I paired it with some other awesome mouse themed accessories you can find around the grid like this newly released necklace that comes in 12 colors from Sweet Leonard and this cutesy mouse ear tights from Gok.

Finishing up my Mickey look is this sexy mesh minidress from Hucci that you can nab at this round of Collabor88 and newness from Censored in the form of sexy spiked stilettos. A 60 Mesh Atelier LOTD

Yay for new discount events! I've got a sneak peek at some goodies you can nab at the opening of 60 Mesh Atelier which starts in just a few hours. This event features lots of goodies all for 60 lindens. My faves this round are this bright fun dress from Reila Skins and this cutesy bag from Censored which comes in beige or pink. The rest of my LOTD is just some old faves plus this pale Atomic skin with bright red lips that I picked up from this round of TDR Blue. I'm a huge fan of ruby red lips and always on the lookout for new skins with them so of course, I had to give this one a try too.

A Sneak Peek At The Makeup & Tattoo Hunt

Heya peeps! I've got a looksie at some of the prizes that you can snag from The Makeup & Tattoo Hunt. This hunt begins on July 15th and runs till August 5th. It features 40 stores all with a prize of some pretty makeups or rocking tattoos. I love how makeup can change up a base skin and make it your own so I'm super excited about this hunt. Oh, and even though the hunt is predominately for females, some of the stores are offering a male prize as well. Just a Few Questions

Hi readers! So tonight, I'm not going to do a full on review like I normally do to go along with my picture. All of the items I'm wearing are fabulous and if you're interested, you can check the credits below to go get them.

When I started blogging, I did it because I found it therapeutic and I like every other female on SL (and some males too!) loved shopping and wanted to show off my looks. As I got more involved, it became a little less about me and more about what my readers like. This past week, I've been questioning my blogging. Things have happened and I have analyzed my blog looking for answers. I came up with a few ideas but instead of focusing on the negative, I want to focus on positive change so I've put together a little survey and I'm asking anyone who reads this to please take it and answer the few questions I have in it. These questions are general Second Life blogging ones and I'd like to see what the majority of people who read these types of blogs look for in a good blog. I'll publish the results afterwards so that other new bloggers, as well as old ones like me, can have a better understanding of things readers look for in a blog. Bouncin Into Skin Addiction Showcase

So last night I got early access to the Skin Addiction Showcase that opened today and runs till June 10th. I've never seen so many pretty skinnies by a variety of talented designers in one fabulous location before. I love the pretty scenery that decorates the sim for this event so much that I'm sure I'm going to go back and take pics there once it dies down a bit but for now, I've got a peek at Essences offering for this event. Her name is Moana and she comes in 5 tones complete with 10 lipcolors and 10 eyecolors plus lots of other add ons like lashes, freckles and beauty marks. I'm wearing the Medium in these pics and I just love the soft dewy look of this baby so much I just had to show her off for all of you to see. I decided to be silly and pose with my new hopper ball that Fly Lily has out at the Fi*Friday store and some mesh newness by Censored.

MESH and makeup go well with it, don't they?

I'm also showing off this pretty skin with bright red lips from Idiosyncrasy. I don't own much from this store but when I saw the makeup, I just had to have it and it's only 95L at the newest SL discount room, My Attic. I Want You All Tattooed: A Tropicalia Bazaar LOTD

The Tropicalia Bazaar started a new round on Monday and when I saw this colorful tattoo by Yulicie, I just had to show it off. I love the fun design and it features My Little Pony so even though I don't normally rock tats, I am now. This gold corset top from Nemesis compliments it so well that you'd think they went together. I like the texturing on this little number a lot because it actually looks like the boning is there.

As for my skin, it's the newest release from Izzie's and Beth is her name. I love the sweet look of her face and the fact that she comes with loads of makeup options for layering your little heart out. I'm rocking the base lips right now with some fun purple shadow but there are also lip colors and a freckle option too so you have lots of customization options to play around with.

Oh, and don't you just love my new capris? They are a hunt goodie right now at Censored for the Carnaval Hunt. There are about 8 prizes to be found but these were one of my faves and I'm sure I'll be wearing them again and again.

LOTD Inspirational Tunez

Skinnies!

Yes, as the title states, I have skins to show off. First up, art body store released these dramatic skins in 6 makeups called Debbie. These skins are available in two tones and feature bold makeups with a little teeth showing.

Next up, I have the newest skin release from my favorite skin store of all time, Filthy. Laika is Filthy's newest release and she features bright glossy lips. Laika comes in four new tones and eight makeups and is available for 50% off for the next two days.

If you're looking for a new skin or just some more skins, you should definitely go pick up one of these girls. Both are completely different but nicely done. Now onto other things, I've been experimenting in Gimp and trying to learn shadows so you get the pleasure of seeing my first attempt at a Gimp shadow. I'm showing off this adorable retro henley that is the subscriber gift from Aura right now as well as some cutesy shorts by Censored that come in 9 colors. These shorts will be part of an outfit at the next round of the Tropicalia Bazaar so be sure to check them out.
