Sofia Goes to the Lake

Ahh two blog posts in one day! I'm on a roll but as soon as I tried on this adorable vintage dress from Mirror's Enigma, I couldn't wait to blog it. It comes in 3 pretty colors and includes the complimentary stockings. It's part of the newly released line of clothing that Mirror's Enigma now offers. Since you only know this store for its skins, you'll want to tp over and check out the rest of their clothing releases.

I initially wanted to take these pics in a Western type sim because the dress has that kind of feel to me so I headed over to the Grand Canyon but when I got near the north side, I saw this pretty lake complete with geese and grazing deer and just had to shoot from there. If you're never been to the Grand Canyon sim, you definitely need to check it out because there is lots to see and do there. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go toss some bread to these geese. Muahz readers!

Autumn in Town

Hi readers! I've got a little Fifty Linden Friday LOTD to show you. Lots of cuteness this week and when I saw this adorable partially mesh dress by House of Fox in my absolute fave color, I squealed a little inside and ran over to get it. I also loved this simple mesh vest by Tee*fy and realized that when I put them both on together that it looked pretty darn cute so I added some cutesy gold toned jewelry, both new and old, and my fave cowboy boots to pose pretty for you all.

And now, I gotta talk about hair. This sweet, youthful updo is Dura's female Halloween gift and comes in a bunch of colors. I love it so much and the Dura group is free to join so I'm like woohoo. There is also a male group gift too with a hat and I don't know about you but I like hats so be sure to go get your gifties if you haven't already.

Finally, my location today is courtesy of the fashion feeds. I saw a pretty couple's blog taken here and just had to go explore it myself. The sim is called Green and is so cute but it says in the land description that it's only going to be open till the end of the month so go check it out before it closes because it's an awesome place to take pics. A 60 Mesh Atelier LOTD

Yay for new discount events! I've got a sneak peek at some goodies you can nab at the opening of 60 Mesh Atelier which starts in just a few hours. This event features lots of goodies all for 60 lindens. My faves this round are this bright fun dress from Reila Skins and this cutesy bag from Censored which comes in beige or pink. Be sure to check out the 60 Mesh Atelier to find your own faves.

The rest of my LOTD is just some old faves plus this pale Atomic skin with bright red lips that I picked up from this round of TDR Blue. I'm a huge fan of ruby red lips and always on the lookout for new skins with them so of course, I had to give this one a try too.

Candy Apple

Miel had out these adorable dresses for Fifty Linden Friday. They come in three patterns and a hud so you can mix and match the tube tube with the dresses. I loved the bright solid pack so I snapped those up. I couldn't decide what color to blog though until I saw that Sweet Leonard had this new candy apple mouthie out and then I knew I was going to be blogging a look to go around this adorable little accessory and voila, here is my LOTD.

Yes, I know FLF is now over. I really did mean to finish this blog earlier but I blame boys! Yes! They always distract me. *Giggles* Anyways, as you can see, this dress is smoking hot and I did promise my wifey a more umm sexier post so I hope this does for her. If not, she can just wait for my next lingerie post. *Sticks my tongue out at Dina* Now go get this dress and this mouthie! You know you want some sweet candy!

Beach Bound

Warmer temperatures in RL today made me wanting Summer to get here sooner than later. It was about 90 degrees here so I jumped in the pool in April. Big mistake! It was wayyyyyy cold and I froze my tail off while taking a dip. Lucky for me, the weather is always gorgeous here in SL so I donned this pretty neutral bikini in Seashell Peach by Rezipsa Loc that is available for the 52 WoC challenge and grabbed this adorable starfish mesh bag by Poor Intentions to hit the beach. Mmm the weather here is fabulous and I can't wait to set down my towel so go get the suntan lotion and get your own beach because this one is all mine! *Giggles*

Sneak Peek: Upcoming Tropicalia Bazaar

Tonight I have a sneak peek at a pretty blue sweater dress that will be available from Purple Moon for the upcoming round of The Tropicalia Bazaar. I'm in no way a fashionista but I notice that sweater dresses are hot this season on Second Life because I've seen quite a few in the last couple of weeks. The twist on Purple Moon's version of the sweater dress is this suede textured belt with a little western inspired fringe. I love how the neutral brown color of the belt offsets the bright blue of the dress and how the belt brings attention to the waist. I paired my adorable sweater dress with my Miel boots and this fantastic freebie from Le Poppycock for Style Academy. I was thrilled to find that this little hatbox inspired bag was mod so I changed the color of the trim to match my LOTD.

After putting together my look, I had to find a place to take pics and I stumbled across this site telling me to check out this SIM called Joplin 66. It's a breathtakingly beautiful and raw inspired farm town and it was deserted. I feel so bad that someone's talent is wasted and that this fabulous SIM is empty so go check out these pics I found on Koinup  while googling and visit Joplin 66.

My Lucky Board Prowl

C'est la vie put out a new feather dress on their lucky board the other day and during my downtime, I've been seriously stalking this board in hopes of my letter coming up. There aren't ever many people around but this dress is so cute that I don't understand why. I've been on a budget lately so I've been looking for good quality freebies and cheapies and this dress is absolutely stunning in my opinion for free.

Today I tped into the store and it wasn't on my letter but I stayed put. A few other girls came in but I had my eye set on the prize and knew in some odd way that ? was gonna come up. Imagine my shock when it did in fact come up on the next round. I quickly slapped that Lucky Board to walk away with this dress and tped on out. I feel no remorse to those who weren't quick enough because I was there first. I'm sure you'd sympathize with me.

I felt like being countryfied today because this dress has a western influence in my opinion so I paired it with my favorite Miel cowboy boots and this adorable hair from Catwa. Neither are new but they are worth taking a look at. Well, I gotta saddle up now. See ya on the range.

New @ Angel

Angel Hair has released 4 new female hairs. I'm going to show you 3 of them. The first is only available at Grunge Soul Project for the discount price of 99 lindens and the other two can be found at Angel Hair's mainstore. Waga comes in four shades. Shown here is Soil. Isn't she cute? I love the not pulled through pigtails that are slightly off skew. Kind of gives my av a youthful looks, don't you agree?

Next up is another pigtail style that isn't so messy. Layla, shown in Blonde is available for 225 lindens at the mainstore. I love the color changeable headband and length of this style.

Finally, I'm going to show off my favorite of Angel Hair's newest releases. Michelle is a braided updo that just screams sophistication in a unique way. *Review Items

The Reason For the Teardrops On My Guitar

*Insert teardrops here* Yesterday, I got wind that TeaSoup is sadly closing its doors on June 17th. The good news is this means a sale. All of TeaSoup's poses are marked down to 25-75 lindens. I happened into TeaSoup via another blog. See what happened is I saw this absolutely gorgeous light wood acoustic guitar prop and just had to have it. I picked it up a few weeks ago but with all the hunts going on, it got lost in my inventory until I was reminded of it yesterday. Of course, I had to go see what else I could snap up at the store and was happy to find a huge present waiting in the middle of the store. It seems the owner of TeaSoup has decided to give away some old hunt gifts as well as the group gift of the guitar I picked up. Yay! Now, I have 8 awesome guitar poses instead of 5.

Next, I gotta talk about this top. I love paperdoll but obviously overlooked this one and even though it was a release back in April, I have to show it off. Olivia is the perfect date top with a soft flowy skirt and button down neckline that is flirty and fun. It can be worn as either a short, sexy dress or over some jeans for that ultra casual vibe. I love the soft green color of this choice because it's not too bold but not too boring.

While I was saying goodbye to TeaSoup, I checked out their neighboring store, PR!TTY. I liked this hair even though I have quite a few in this style but for 199 lindens with accessories, I thought it was a bargain. It makes me feel pretty! *Giggles* Well, actually this whole look does. I have to thank Dailyn Holfe for giving out the landmark for this roughly beautiful sim.
