TFG Meets Perfect Wardrobe

Ah events! You gotta love them. I mean without them we'd be broke. Right? Well, two of my faves are The Fashion Garret and Perfect Wardrobe. Each has a different style to be had but sometimes they can collide. For some reason, I was getting a western vibe from this round of The Fashion Garret. There are boots, Native American inspired jewelry, and jeans to be had so of course, my mind instantly went to that kind of look but there was no top to go with my look. Lucky for me, I remember that Izzie's had out the perfect top to go with my look so I sprinkled in a few more Perfect Wardrobe goodies to bring you a double whammy event LOTD.

Tee'd Off

I know...randomness as a blog title. Well, sort of! Sticky Fingers has just released these casual styled minidresses called My Tee Dress. Available in 8 colors, this little number is very versatile. I initially wanted to wear it with tights but I couldn't find the right color and since I'm having an OCD day, I decided to layer it with jeans. I added a snake inspired belt from Pepper that is available at The Fashion Garret right now as well as their new Price Tag Boots to bring you my LOTD.

Oh and my hair! I just have to talk about my hair. It's the newest release from Wasabi Pills and comes in two options. I liked this version of Sybille better because it seemed fuller to me and I like to have luscious locks on Second Life. If you haven't tried mesh hair yet, Wasabi Pills is THE go to place for it. Every hair she puts out is adorable and if I had more money, I would have bought them all before. Well, that's my LOTD folks. Hope you all are having a happy hump day!

A Sexy TFG LOTD

The Fashion Garret is back with a brand new round. They've done a remodel and added a few new designers to their collection so you know you want to go over and check it out. As soon as I saw this Al Vulo skin, I knew it was another one of hers I had to have. The bright, juicy lips are perfect for the upcoming holiday. Also, Label Mode has out these sexy pumps. Those of you who know me know that I'm a sucker for a good basic pump so I had to snap these babies up too. TFG Newness

The Fashion Garret is back with a brand new round and although it's small this time, there is still some awesomeness to be had. Illmatic has put out this deep v neck bodysuit with sparkly detail and a sheer panel for you conservative types. This sexy top comes with a matching skirt perfect for a clubbing outfit. I'm not wearing the skirt because the prim is grey for me but I sent an IM to the owner and hopefully they'll fix it but you should still check this out because it's a smokin outfit even so.

I'm also showing off this fun little iPod from Pepper that is available too. This cute MP3 player comes with three different size options and is color changeable so you can customize it to your avatar's size and outfit easily. Oh and the skin I'm wearing is from Essences and comes with lots of extras so you know it's a bargain and there is a demo available so go check it out.

TFG is New!

The Fashion Garret is back with a new round of goodies to be had. I didn't find much I liked this time but I did manage to put together this athletic LOTD. Respect has out this cute grey basketball jacket that is unisex and comes with different mod options perfect for those who like to mod on our own and those like me who need a resizer. Also, Action has joined TFG and has out these adorable sherbert colored corset tops available in 3 different colors with 2 styles per pack. I combined them with Pepper's TFG brass knuckle belt and hit the court for a little one on one. Wanna play?

A Fashion Garret Sneak Peek

The Fashion Garret opens in a few hours with its 20th collection and I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at some of the goodies that will be for sale this round. I'm in love with mostly everything. It seems to me that TFG has broadened their style a little because I'm seeing a few more alternative things this round. It's nice to see a little something for everyone although I haven't seen any male items yet this round. Newness @ The Sea Hole

Omg! The Sea Hole just released the most adorable tops with lace embellishment on the front chest. These tops which come in 6 colors feature optional arm warmers perfect for those cool fall evenings. Drinkinstein Sorbet, owner of The Sea Hole, says that these 6 colors will be the upcoming Collabor88 colors and be featured in all of her new releases this month so you know that you are going to be able to coordinate them so easily with other items you buy in the upcoming month.

Some TFG Cuteness!

Hai readers! Today I'm gonna show off a few items for the upcoming edition of The Fashion Garret. First, I have to talk about this knit sweater from Zenith. I really liked the item they have out this round of TFG but when I got a preview of this wool sweater, I fell in love a little more with this store. I love the realistic look of this texture. It reminds me of one of those sweaters that's so itchy in RL. The best thing about SL is that there is no itchiness so I can rawk this cute little sweater to my heart's content comfortably. *Giggles* This pale rose colored sweater contains no resizer but it was super easy for me to mod so I'm ecstatic right now.

I also have to show off this adorable brown bag with gold toned hardware from Label Mode. As soon as I saw the ad for this little number, I knew I'd try it out right away and the ad hasn't let me down. It comes with an attachement for one hand or two so you can hold it a couple different ways. It works perfectly with these poses from Label Motion that will also be available at TFG. This pose pack, called Broome, features four whimsical pose animations as well as a HUD that you can use. You should mark the release of the newest edition of The Fashion Garret on your calendar because you won't want to miss out on these sales.

I'll Read You a Story

Shh, don't tell anyone but I snuck into my brother Zan's library to take some pictures for you. I just had to show off these adorable props from Magnifique that are available at a discounted price for TOSL and what better place to show off a book than at the library. This set comes with 6 book smart poses as well as book props and is only 75 lindens. Yay! I love to read and I know you will too when you snap up these poses. 

I'm also showing off this pretty floral dress that is going to be available at The Fashion Garret for its next cycle from u.f.o. Last cycle, they had this awful dog bodysuit that I hated so I'm happily surprised to find such a nice dress with two belt options from them. It goes to show that you can't give up on a store just because you hate one thing you see from them. I paired the dress with this beautifully done pale skin with serious eyes and pouty lips from Iren as well as some fabulous hair from Angel that will also be at The Fashion Garret. You should definitely save up some lindens for this sale because the things I've seen that are going to be featured are very well done and tasteful.

My Lucky Board Prowl

C'est la vie put out a new feather dress on their lucky board the other day and during my downtime, I've been seriously stalking this board in hopes of my letter coming up. There aren't ever many people around but this dress is so cute that I don't understand why. I've been on a budget lately so I've been looking for good quality freebies and cheapies and this dress is absolutely stunning in my opinion for free.

Today I tped into the store and it wasn't on my letter but I stayed put. A few other girls came in but I had my eye set on the prize and knew in some odd way that ? was gonna come up. Imagine my shock when it did in fact come up on the next round. I quickly slapped that Lucky Board to walk away with this dress and tped on out. I feel no remorse to those who weren't quick enough because I was there first. I'm sure you'd sympathize with me.

I felt like being countryfied today because this dress has a western influence in my opinion so I paired it with my favorite Miel cowboy boots and this adorable hair from Catwa. Neither are new but they are worth taking a look at. Well, I gotta saddle up now. See ya on the range.
