Danse Macabre

So I was off exploring again and found this awesome sim called Danse Macabre. It's an artistic expressionism sim with a powerful message of fighting your fears, personal development, and belonging. It's part of the Split Screen Installation Space which features two artists for a few months in a large immersive experience. I didn't get to check out the other artist's work but this one is fantastically done so be sure to check it out.

Since I was snapping pics, I decided to show off the cute LOTD I was wearing. It's a mixup of tons of newness and freebies you can find around the grid. I'm loving the broken heart necklace from Sweet Leonard lots because it rings true to how I've been feeling lately and you really can't beat this pretty version of Al Vulo's Lyala skin that is available at this round of The Dressing Room Fusion.

Get Lucky at Perfect Wardrobe

Perfect Wardrobe is back with a St. Patty's Day inspired theme. That means lots of green and shamrocks. 52 Weeks of Color: Patina & Alice Blue

Okies, so I'm a bit of a procrastinator. Tell me something I don't know already. I kind of got sidetracked inworld and didn't do Patina. I'm sorry but hey I got it done now as well as my Alice Blue post. Yay! I kind of got the original idea to do an Alice in Wonderland look for this color so it was easier to do. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who went did this but meh, it was original to me at the time. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my Patina and Alice Blue posts. The Fashion Garret is back with a new round of goodies to be had. I didn't find much I liked this time but I did manage to put together this athletic LOTD. Respect has out this cute grey basketball jacket that is unisex and comes with different mod options perfect for those who like to mod on our own and those like me who need a resizer. Also, Action has joined TFG and has out these adorable sherbert colored corset tops available in 3 different colors with 2 styles per pack. I combined them with Pepper's TFG brass knuckle belt and hit the court for a little one on one. Wanna play?

Exploring

It seems I'm always running out of interesting places to take my blog pictures so I did a google search on the most photogenic places in Second Life. I've been to a few of these sims but somehow this one got passed over. Innsmouth is described as an abandoned 1930's New England town and I found it so hauntingly beautiful that I just had to show off the goodies I picked up today.

I work weekends so I feel like I'm always missing out on the good sales that go on during the weekends but tonight I was lucky enough to make it to the Lazy Sunday ones. I fell in love with this pretty dress from Black & Blue Outfitters but when I took it home and tried it on, I couldn't adjust it to my body type. (Not the designer's fault, I'm a noob when it comes to these things!) Happily, I remembered that I bought these cream lace shorts from League on Friday so I thought hmm, I wonder if they match. I tried the top of the dress with the shorts and found it was a perfect match but that the outfit needed some color so I paired it with this awesome denim jacket from Action.

After that, I dropped by CHIC's Fashionably Late event and picked up this creamy skin with dark eye makeup from Haut Monde called Camden. I believe that it's a preview of her next skin line and it fits right in with what I can describe as a dewy look that seems to be the normal of Teresa Republic's skins. I love dark eye makeup because I'm usually after a dramatic look and Camden works so well for me. I topped off my look with one of the newer hair releases from Angel Hair. I usually work the long caramel colored hairs of hers but I decided to experiment with this chocolate brown short style and can definitely say I'm impressed with Angel's short dos too. Well, it's five am here and I've been up since five am the night before so it's definitely time for me to hit my pillow. Be sure to check out these fabulous stores!

Guesty

I've been known to come up with crazy ideas and run with them. So far on SL, I've opened a clothing franchise, a detective agency, and a photography studio that have all failed miserably. When I told my partner my plans to start a fashion blog, I expected him to say it was stupid and that I shouldn't try but he's been supportive so far. Well as supportive as a guy can be about fashion! He's actually expressed an interest in my blog and is probably the only person who reads it daily. *Smiles* Anyways, about a week ago, he asked me if he could take my picture for a blog posting so here it is.
