There's No Place Like Home

So recently Riley and I bought land and I've been trying to get it perfect. It's 1/4 of a homestead and in my opinion, it's a beautiful place. I can't wait till we are finished fixing it up but tonight we just wanted to talk so work was put on hold. I was initially going to do a post by myself but when Riley saw me dressed up in this pretty dress by Cynful available at My Attic, he wanted to be too and then of course, I had to include him in the pics because I thought he looked really hot in his new suit and I love that I finally get to use some of these nice couples poses I've collected through the months. This one is by the now closed store, Magnifique, but you can still nab it on Marketplace.

Now I gotta mention this hair. It's one of Exile's newer releases and omg! I love it! I love the soft flowy volumized look of it and the length is just perfect in my opinion. There is nothing like sexy hair and Exile really nailed it with this one. I think it's my fave hair of the year so far actually!

Danse Macabre

So I was off exploring again and found this awesome sim called Danse Macabre. It's an artistic expressionism sim with a powerful message of fighting your fears, personal development, and belonging. It's part of the Split Screen Installation Space which features two artists for a few months in a large immersive experience. I didn't get to check out the other artist's work but this one is fantastically done so be sure to check it out.

Since I was snapping pics, I decided to show off the cute LOTD I was wearing. It's a mixup of tons of newness and freebies you can find around the grid. I'm loving the broken heart necklace from Sweet Leonard lots because it rings true to how I've been feeling lately and you really can't beat this pretty version of Al Vulo's Lyala skin that is available at this round of The Dressing Room Fusion.

Laid Back

Hi readers! Just a little post showing off a super casual outfit from 1 Hundred that is available at BlackOnly. I'm very much a yoga pants and cardigan kind of girl in RL (In fact, I'm wearing something similar in blue and gray today!) so I could definitely see myself wearing this often. Well, maybe not baring my tummy but hey this is SL and we're allowed to be sexier here. Fly Away

Pose Fair is still going strong and today I've decided to show off one of the fabulous freebies you can pick up at this event. Sparrowtree Studios has out this adorable little bird pose attachment at their spot. This awesome pose comes in both male and female versions and is well worth a price but the owner has generously placed it out as a gift so while you're shopping at this booth, be sure to pick up this pose.

I'm also showing off this uber girly girl dress from 1 Hundred. It's one of the items she has out for the Flawless Spring Sale and I just thought the pretty floral design screamed Spring. I don't usually dress this feminine but I really liked the cut of this dress. Since I'm missing my SL bestie, Dinalya, I've decided to dedicate my "prissy" post to her. She is usually the one rocking the dresses. Miss ya boo! Huggies!

Goodies Galore!

So yesterday was Valentine's Day but since I'm not a fan, I didn't celebrate. Although I'm not a fan, one thing I do love about holidays is the fact that the grid is full of freebies and discounts at this time. I love how designers get into the spirit of the holidays and offer up some cuteness for us shopaholics to snap up. 1 Hundred has out this adorable babydoll like top at A Flawless Valentine Cart Sale. I just loved how springlike the colors were and how easy it was to mod. If you're looking for some seasonal cuteness, you definitely need to check out their cart. I also managed to snag this pretty skin from Pink Fuel that was discounted to 99L last night. Thanks to my fellow Rumorista Christa for giving me the heads up on this baby. Since I sometimes like to be a blonde, this skin will come in handy because I think it looks adorable with blonde hair. It also goes with the springlike vibe I'm feeling since it has pretty pastel eye makeup.

The rest of my look is compliments of the Chantelle store's Valentine's Day Hunt. As soon as I saw this bag on the feeds, I had to get it. It reminds me of the fun style of a Dooney & Burke bag. Topping off my LOTD is this fun necklace from Pepper. This necklace gives a little love note when you touch it and features a color change menu perfect for any outfit. Pepper is my go to store for accessories and this one will definitely be used for a bit. Oh, and if you haven't been to the Proposer's Expo yet, you need to head on over.
