Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Hey all! Just a quick LOTD post to show off this adorable outfit I've been wearing the last few days. League has out these gorgeous boots at Shoetopia and all of the proceeds of the purple color go to Soles4Souls so I just had to rock them. Plus they went perfectly with the newest ColdLogic release so who could resist!

Also, check out my pretty face. She's the newest release from Al Vulo and called Ewa. Ewa comes in 5 tones and includes all appliers as well as lots of lipgloss options. I'm showing off the fairy tone with a peach gloss but you need to head over to Al Vulo and check these out for yourself to see all the different options.

Fall Time!

Hi readers! I'm on a bit of a budget but felt like blogging so I've got some prizes you can grab at The Autumn Effect Hunt to show off as well as this adorable hat from Sweet Leonard that is for sale at Marquis Market. My cutesy hat is available in 3 colors and is an exclusive to this event so hurry over and pick it up.

Now, let's talk about these hunt goodies. Cynful has out this sexy sweater dress as its prize. This curve hugging number comes in three versions: turtleneck, no turtleneck, and busty. I'm not a huge turtleneck fan so I loved the non version and am happy she gave out all of the choices. Another cute prize this hunt has is this Fall inspired leaf necklace from Atooly. This delicate accessory adds just the right touch to my outfit. As you can see, these are both awesome prizes so be sure to check out this hunt if you're on a budget like me. Can't wait till payday!

Finally, I decided to share another windlight with you all tonight. If you've noticed, my last few posts were all done in a Fall hued windlight. I made this one by tweaking a windlight that I already had downloaded to highlight all of the pretty tones of this season so it may look similar to one you already have (Sorry! I forget whose to give proper credit to!) but I figured everyone needs a pretty new windlight and some of you might be a little afraid to attempt messing with them yourself so I figured why not!

Cause I'm A Gypsy ~ A Hair Fair Sneak Peek

Hair Fair opens in less than 45 minutes and if you're like me, you've been marking the calender down waiting for this event in anticipation. Running from July 13th to July 23rd, Hair Fair marks its 8th year raising money for the charity, Wigs for Kids. Each designer who is in this event has generously decided to donate a portion of their hair's sales just for this charity so of course, all of us non designers can help support this wonderful cause by buying lots and lots of hair.

I'm always excited to see all of the different styles out there and I purchased many hairs tonight from a variety of different stores but I wanted to show off this gypsylike style from Olive called Elisa first. Olive is launching its hair line at this event and has out 4 fun hair styles guaranteed to suit anyone's taste. I instantly fell in love with this hairdo because I love hair accessories and this one features a quirky little headband. Isn't it adorable? Yep, I knew you'd agree so be sure to save some lindens and check out Olive's little booth at this event.

Hi readers! I've got a look at one of the awesome prizes you can pick up from the Falling Into Seasons Hunt by Nani Poses. Sunflowers

Since yellow is my absolute favorite color in the whole world, it'd make sense that sunflowers are one of my absolute fave flowers. They are loud and in your face but still sweet just like me. *Giggles* When I saw this dress from Plastik in a fun sunflower pattern, I just knew I had to blog it. This dress is a new release called Achillea and comes in many pretty patterns but I'm just showing off this one in all its flowery goodness. I paired it with this sexy new hair from Exile called Breathe Me and some fun copper bangles that I picked up at EY:NO this past lazy Sunday to bring you this post.

Now moving onto poses! Katink has just released the most fabulous poses. They are called the 360 poses and feature the same pose but with different angles. In my opinion, these poses are perfect for all you fashion models out there because you can show off your outfit from all views. I'm using ones from set 8 but there are 9 other sets to choose from. Plus, each set comes with an animation that just screams SL high fashion to me. If you're looking for some new awesome poses, be sure to head over to Katink and demo these babies!

Oh, and pics today are taken at Image Essentials. I was looking for new photogenic locations on Destination Guide and this one popped out at me. Being Lazy

So due to a combination of one hyper six year old and a few overnight shifts with little sleep, this is a quick post but I just wanted to show off some cuteness I picked up for discount at various events this weekend. I love being a redhead so when I snapped up this hair by Wasabi Pills at Cinema, I knew instantly that I was going to get the Glam Affair Ginny skin in a lighter tone then I normally wear from Collabor88. I threw on this cute and cozy sweater from The Secret Store and decided to pose pretty in this autumn themed skybox from A:S:S. Both these items are available for Lazy Sunday and as you can see, they are each awesome in their own right.

And speaking of posing pretty, check out the poses I'm using in these pics. They are by Nani Poses and will be available tomorrow at The Black Market. If you've never tried Nani Poses, you definitely need to. Not only does she make great simple poses like these ones, she also makes adorable props and is in quite a few discounted events. If you're a pose whore like me, you need to stop by and scoop these babies up.

On a non SL related front, not that you've probably noticed unless you are a Blogger blogger but the page views have reset themselves. I asked around on SL and no one had noticed but when I go on the Blogger help forums, it's happened to a lot of people so don't fear because they are fixing it. Ever since I was a noob, paper.doll has always been one of my favorite stores. The store's designs are cute but sexy sort of like me. *Sticks my tongue out. I'm kidding! Well, maybe. Grins* Whenever I needed a new minidress, they were always first on my hit list of places to go. Now even though I'm not a noob, their designs always make me want to spend all my lindens there but today, I didn't have to because paper.doll is having a reopening mini hunt and has out four adorable prizes. *Skims my fingers across the piano keys enjoying the sound they make* Vintage Fair opened yesterday and as soon as I saw this beautiful satin dress with lace embroidery from Bonne Chance, I knew it had to be mine. It's the kind of nostalgic clothing I love, sexy yet sophisticated, so it found its way in to my inventory and I haven't taken it off since.

I paired it with this gorgeous Veronica Lake inspired hair that Wasabi Pills has out for the event. Since I've been rocking these pretty turquoise eyes that are the newest giftie from Ikon, I figured I'd make sure they really popped against the ivory of this dress so I'm rocking this hair in red. I love the combined effect so much and just wanna stay like this forever. *Giggles*

Exploring

It seems I'm always running out of interesting places to take my blog pictures so I did a google search on the most photogenic places in Second Life. I've been to a few of these sims but somehow this one got passed over. Innsmouth is described as an abandoned 1930's New England town and I found it so hauntingly beautiful that I just had to show off the goodies I picked up today.

I work weekends so I feel like I'm always missing out on the good sales that go on during the weekends but tonight I was lucky enough to make it to the Lazy Sunday ones. I fell in love with this pretty dress from Black & Blue Outfitters but when I took it home and tried it on, I couldn't adjust it to my body type. (Not the designer's fault, I'm a noob when it comes to these things!) Happily, I remembered that I bought these cream lace shorts from League on Friday so I thought hmm, I wonder if they match. I tried the top of the dress with the shorts and found it was a perfect match but that the outfit needed some color so I paired it with this awesome denim jacket from Action.

After that, I dropped by CHIC's Fashionably Late event and picked up this creamy skin with dark eye makeup from Haut Monde called Camden. I believe that it's a preview of her next skin line and it fits right in with what I can describe as a dewy look that seems to be the normal of Teresa Republic's skins. I love dark eye makeup because I'm usually after a dramatic look and Camden works so well for me. I topped off my look with one of the newer hair releases from Angel Hair. I usually work the long caramel colored hairs of hers but I decided to experiment with this chocolate brown short style and can definitely say I'm impressed with Angel's short dos too. Well, it's five am here and I've been up since five am the night before so it's definitely time for me to hit my pillow. Be sure to check out these fabulous stores!
