Wynter is Almost Here

Well, the Wynter skin from Belleza made its appearance yesterday for Fifty Linden Friday and I like a lot of people on the grid, just had to have it. It's soft subtle cuteness and rosy cheeks called to me. I added new hair cuteness from LaViere that was also available for FLF and some Fair goodies to bring you this post.

Also, if you haven't been to Decoy, they are having a sale and she's got quite a few freebies out like these adorable jeans I'm wearing. I know I'm probably going to create a little shock here but I prefer old school jeans as opposed to mesh ones. To me, jeans should hug the figure and I don't feel like mesh ones do so if you're like me and like your jeans better this way, you need to grab this fatpack from Decoy. This sale ends on the 30th so hurry over and check it out!

Oh and I know I didn't participate in Pose Appreciation Week but while browsing a few posts that did, I noticed no one appreciated Label Motion so I have to. Ever since Label Motion made their premiere in the sale event, The Fashion Garret, I've always been a fan. Their poses are simple and versatile for showing off mostly any outfit. I love that I can always nab a pack at either TDRB or sometimes Perfect Wardrobe for a discounted price and their group gifts are awesome as well. So I guess I'm appreciating them for my one Pose Appreciation post even though there are many other stores I love as well.

Hi readers! I've got a look at one of the awesome prizes you can pick up from the Falling Into Seasons Hunt by Nani Poses. *waves from sunny Florida* Sorry that I've been MIA for a few days but I'm away on vacation visiting Mickey! Well I'm actually here because my little sister is getting married tomorrow at the happiest place on earth but hey Mickey owns this place so yeah, technically visiting Mickey. Since I'm breathing Disney right now, I figured I'd do a Disney inspired post. Lucky for me, a new round of 60 Mesh Atelier started up and Emporium has out the cutest Minnie Mouse top for it. I slapped on some mouse ears cause what would be a Disney post without them and grabbed these fun cellphone props from Expressive Poses that are also available at 60 Mesh Atelier to bring you this post.

 

Of course, since I'm sneaking on SL to blog a little, I had to do some shopping as well. I really can't stay away from all of the weekend sales so I stopped over at Izzie's and picked up these brightly colored 80's inspired nails she's got out for Lazy Sunday and this adorable discounted hair that Elikatira just released too. Autumn in Town

Hi readers! I've got a little Fifty Linden Friday LOTD to show you. Lots of cuteness this week and when I saw this adorable partially mesh dress by House of Fox in my absolute fave color, I squealed a little inside and ran over to get it. I also loved this simple mesh vest by Tee*fy and realized that when I put them both on together that it looked pretty darn cute so I added some cutesy gold toned jewelry, both new and old, and my fave cowboy boots to pose pretty for you all.

And now, I gotta talk about hair. This sweet, youthful updo is Dura's female Halloween gift and comes in a bunch of colors. I love it so much and the Dura group is free to join so I'm like woohoo. There is also a male group gift too with a hat and I don't know about you but I like hats so be sure to go get your gifties if you haven't already.

Finally, my location today is courtesy of the fashion feeds. I saw a pretty couple's blog taken here and just had to go explore it myself. The sim is called Green and is so cute but it says in the land description that it's only going to be open till the end of the month so go check it out before it closes because it's an awesome place to take pics. Venice in Blue

It's always been a dream of mine to go to Europe but alas, it's a pricey one that I can't afford at the moment. I envision myself roaming the weathered streets of cities twice the age of the US and exploring the history of such places. Lucky for me, Second Life offers a slight alternative to this and even though, it's only a small comparison to the real thing, I can imagine that it's real life right? About a year ago, a friend of mine introduced me to the Venexia sim. The cobblestone and canals of this beautifully done sim make me feel like I'm in Venice even if the people that RP there seem to be from the turn of the century. Happily, they let me explore as long as I rock the OOC tag so I got to snap some pretty pics for you all.

My look today is a mix of sale items I picked up around the grid plus some new hair by Exile. I'm loving the bangs on this number and it reminds me of how I wore my hair when I was around 18. I'm also rocking the newest group gift by Filthy. Everyone knows I love me some Filthy skins and this pretty number with bright blue eyeshadow makes me all happy. As always, the Filthy skin group is 199L to join but when you get a skin and sometimes also a shape a month, you know it's well worth it. Well, I think I need some gelato now.
