Hey all! Just a quick LOTD post featuring these adorable pumpkin pose props that Nani Poses has out for the Oh My Gacha event. These pumpkin poses are just one of the cute autumn inspired props that are available for grabs in this gacha for only 40L a play. This set includes two different pumpkin poses with a jack o'lantern or basic pumpkin option. I like both options so I decided to decorate outside of my house with them.
Also, check out my new scarf. It's newness from Sweet Leonard and comes in a variety of colors perfect for accessorizing any outfit. I love the gold leaf pin accent and feel it adds a little something extra to keep the scarf from looking too boring. Hey all! Just a quick LOTD post to show off these fantastic goodies available at this round of The Seasons Story. I'm in love with these owl poses by Imeka so much that I had to go grab them as soon as I could. I've named my cute little owl, Hootie, after an ongoing joke between me and one of my guy friends on SL and I can't help but giggle because Hootie's usually mean to me and now he obviously loves me like he should have all along! This pose pack comes complete with 5 adorable poses and a texture driven menu so you can change out your owl's color. I paired it with this Autumn inspired new release by Truth that comes complete with his new HUD for both easy hat texture changing as well as hair color changing. Finally, check out these awesome boots by Sweet Leonard. I don't know about you but I love a good boot for my Fall looks and these fit well with only a little bit of moding with my favorite jeans. They are available in 6 colors and finish out my The Seasons Story look.

As most of you are aware, Skin Fair 2013 starts on March 15th and will run till the 31st. Covering 2 sims, this event features newness and specials from most of your favorite skin designers. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this adorable Asian inspired skin with a dewy face from Izzie's. Her name aptly is Asia and she comes in 6 tones including my favorite one, Pale (shown in my style pics), designed specifically for Gingers.
The 4 main tones of light, medium, peach, and tan come with 4 brow
options, the pale Ginger themed one comes with a special freckled
version, and the dark tan version comes with just the dark brows.
I decided to mix and match the eyeshadows and lipsticks you receive with each skin to give you an idea of the many options this pretty girl has. One of the best things about Izzie's skins is that when you buy one, you get all of the makeups. Most skins charge per makeup so to me, this is a huge incentive to try Izzie's out if you haven't already so mark your calendar for this awesome event!

it is miserable out. It was supposed to snow but instead, we got this
yucky rain. You know, the kind of weather that makes you long for sunny
days with bright blue skies. On SL, we don't have to have dreary days if
we don't want to so I took advantage of this to throw together a look
that reminds me of warmer weather and the beach. In RL, I live about an
hour away from the beach so if I really want to, I can just hop in my
car and be on the boardwalk skating my heart out in no time.

Magika released the most adorable hooded hair with cat ears and I just had to run over and grab it. It comes with a variety of colors that you can change out to match your outfits and includes 3 sizes so you don't have to worry about it not fitting your head. I loved it so much that I just had to build a simple look around it. Lucky for me, Izzie's released these basic long sleeved tops that come with optional Tango appliers. I bought the top to wear with my Tangos but was having hair alpha issues so I decided to rock it with no boobies for these pics. If anyone knows how I can hide the alpha with the Tangos, let me know and I'll love you forever!
My fun bubble jewelry is semi newness from Sweet Leonard and comes in 8 fun colors and 2 metal tones. This retro vibed jewelry comes in separate packs that include just the rings by themselves or just the necklace so if you're just wanting one or the other, you can pick these up easily.
Finally, my poses are newness from Focus Poses. Focus cranks out the poses super quick and they also have adorable props with a lot of their stuff so be sure to check them out.
Song choice and blog title today are for my fantastic partner. Sometimes we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like but I just want him to know I'm thinking of him and would walk a thousand miles to have him in my arms. Well, that's all for now. ...I'm a Toys R Us kid. Ok, so we all know I'm a dork by now but that song keeps running through my head every time I look at this adorable giraffe I picked up from d-lab for Fifty Linden Friday. It comes in 2 versions and 3 different colors but I just had to pick up the natural color in the sitting version which comes with 6 animations because it reminds me of Geoffrey!
Also showing off newness from Elikatira and Ispachi in the form of hair and boots and I seriously don't know which one I love more. I stare at my cutesy hairdo with the texture change bow and then move down to my gorgeously detailed boots every five minutes or so. Both are amazing so be sure to check out both of these stores. Yes, the boots are supposed to be male but they were sooo easy to mod and come with a texture change hud.
On a more personal note, I'm seriously crushing on someone and he likes me too so I'm super duper happy so expect lots of happy Kis posts in the upcoming days. It's funny how one nice person can make your whole Second Life a happier place. :D

Hey all! Just a quick LOTD post built around these cute antlers by Half Deer that I picked up at Vespertine's Christmas Fair. They come with the ears and the antlers and are available in lots of wintery colors. I liked the Fawn tone best so that's what you see. Since I was embracing my winter deer look, I decided brown and white was the way to go. Sweet Leonard has out this adorable deer necklace and ring set as a Hunting for Winter prize and as you can see, it matched perfectly so yay!
And speaking of awesome hunt prizes, I've got another pair of pretty peepers you can pick up from the New in 2013 Hunt. These light blue dual toned eyes are Umeboshi's prize and even though I normally wear green eyes, I couldn't help but pair them with this adorable porcelain skin from Al Vulo called Lyala. I had planned on posting this pic today and talking about fashion and trivial things going on in my life but with the recent tragedy that happened in Connecticut today, I don't feel like it's the time or place. Instead, I will take this time to say a prayer for the families affected by today's terrible events. We should all be thankful for the little things we have in life and never take anything for granted because you never know what the future holds. It's just sad that something like this makes us realize that. May those children rest in peace and may their families be able to heal and move forward from this eventually holding onto only good memories of the loved ones they've lost.

Today was an emotional day for me on SL. I'm trying to walk away from the hope I had for someone to change but I realized you can't change people's feelings if they don't want it so I had to finally give up. It's frustrating and I'm hurt but all I can do is let go and hope that the broken pieces of my heart will mend eventually with time. Even though I wasn't technically in a "relationship" with this person, they were one of my best friends and I will miss what we had.

Well, the Wynter skin from Belleza made its appearance yesterday for Fifty Linden Friday and I like a lot of people on the grid, just had to have it. It's soft subtle cuteness and rosy cheeks called to me. I added new hair cuteness from LaViere that was also available for FLF and some Fair goodies to bring you this post.
Also, if you haven't been to Decoy, they are having a sale and she's got quite a few freebies out like these adorable jeans I'm wearing. I know I'm probably going to create a little shock here but I prefer old school jeans as opposed to mesh ones. To me, jeans should hug the figure and I don't feel like mesh ones do so if you're like me and like your jeans better this way, you need to grab this fatpack from Decoy. Oh and I know I didn't participate in Pose Appreciation Week but while browsing a few posts that did, I noticed no one appreciated Label Motion so I have to. Ever since Label Motion made their premiere in the sale event, The Fashion Garret, I've always been a fan. Their poses are simple and versatile for showing off mostly any outfit. I love that I can always nab a pack at either TDRB or sometimes Perfect Wardrobe for a discounted price and their group gifts are awesome as well. So it's absolutely gorgeous here in my part of the world today. You know the kind of weather where you just want to stay in your yard and barbeque all day while you enjoying the calm breeze and warm sunshine. Well, since it's that type of day, I decided to just that on SL as well. I figured I'd show off some mesh goodies that are available for Taste of Second Life and Keep Calm and Keep Shopping.

Izzie's has released this fabulously done wooden jewelry set for Perfect Wardrobe. Ok, I admit that I haven't done a color challenge posting in quite a few weeks and I hope I can be forgiven for just jumping right into this one but when I saw the color, I just had to. Yellow is my absolute favorite color in the whole world and since Dandelion to me is just a warmer variation of the color, I still love, love, love it. Lucky for me that March Mesh Madness opened last night with lots of meshy goodness to be had like this beautiful dress from Decoy. It's one of my most favorite things that I've bought in a long time and I haven't taken it off in like two days so you know I'm loving it! I paired it with the newest hair release from Magika also available at MMM as I like to call it. If you love mesh, you need to hurry on over and see all the rest of the mesh goodies besides these. You might want to take off all extra scripts and stuff because it is a laggy mesh fest. That's expected though with fantastic finds like these so get to shopping!
