Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Hey all! Just a quick LOTD post to show off this adorable outfit I've been wearing the last few days. League has out these gorgeous boots at Shoetopia and all of the proceeds of the purple color go to Soles4Souls so I just had to rock them. Plus they went perfectly with the newest ColdLogic release so who could resist!

Also, check out my pretty face. She's the newest release from Al Vulo and called Ewa. Ewa comes in 5 tones and includes all appliers as well as lots of lipgloss options. I'm showing off the fairy tone with a peach gloss but you need to head over to Al Vulo and check these out for yourself to see all the different options.

Shoetopia starts tomorrow and although there are gazillions of adorable shoes to be had, I decided to show off some gacha goodies you can snag at this event along with these nicely textured flats from Ingenue. From poses to decor to Slink addon nails, the gacha prizes are wonderful and those of you who know me best know that I am a bit of a gachaholic so I had to play mostly all of these machines. Some of the machines have even generously donated a portion of their earnings to Shoetopia's chosen charity, Soles4Souls. Right now, this fabulous charity is aiding those affected by the tycoon in the Phillipines so be sure to stop by the gachas and try your luck after you've exhausted yourself trying on all the pretty shoes. Also, be sure to hit Ingenue first because you can't go wrong with a basic flat!

Lean On Me

Today I'm going to take the time to do one of Berry's memes from almost two weeks ago where I get to blog about one of my closest SL friends. I know I'm super late with this meme but my one of my closest friends on SL lives in Australia so due to time zone issues and me always crashing, it's very hard to get him to pose pretty for me. Lucky for me, I had off today so I got to hang out with him for a longer period of time than usual so without futher ado, let me introduce my boy bestie, Xplozive.

I met Xplozive a year or so ago at an exhibitionism and voyeur sim. (Yes, Kissy was up to no good!) I noticed him instantly because his pixels looked good compared to most men that visit those types of sims but he looked to be in conversation with this fish face chick with the IPR going down so I left him be. Obviously, I caught his eye too because it wasn't very long before he ditched the other chick and IM'd me. We instantly clicked over a mutual love of trolling and fashion and spent the next two hours just talking about random stuff.

As our friendship progressed, I found that he's one of the few men on SL that actually seem to care about what I have to say without trying to get into my pixel panties. He's also always been honest with me and sweet to me. Combine that with the ability to make me laugh and the fact that he always is up for trouble, and we quickly became close friends. I can honestly say that besides Kimbra, he is the person I talk to the most on SL and hands down, one of my favorite people online. It's funny how SL can allow you to build friendships from all over the world. If it weren't for SL, I'd have never met this amazing man so I'm grateful we crossed paths in this virtual world. He's someone I've leaned on greatly these past few months and I'm very lucky to have met him that night. Thanks for being a wonderful friend Xp!

A Little Pose Fair Preview

Hey readers! So if you're a pose whore like me, you've probably been counting down the days till Pose Fair opened and guess what today is the day. I've got a little glimpse at some simple poses from Grafica to show you. I've never heard of this pose store before but the poses they have out are basic model poses like I prefer for showcasing looks.

 And what better place to show off my look then at Isabelli Anatine's newly opened sim, Kitten's Heaven. This beautifully done sim features a cafe with music acts as well as lots of pretty places to rez props and take some pics. Zoot Suit Riot

Lately, I've been on a vintage kick. I've always been a fan of vintage looks and since Riley likes them too, I've decided to rock them a little more. What can I say? I aim to please. :D Lucky for me, Lelutka's designers like vintage looks as well and have released 3 fabulous hairs reminiscent of the roaring 20's. As soon as I saw Gloria with its butterfly headband, I knew I'd have to build a look around it.

Also, ColdLogic is having a sale in honor of its 1 year anniversary so I ran over and picked up a few of their new releases for 50% off. I loved the sexy shape of this newer number and the satiny glitter threads throughout it made me feel it was dressy enough for my flapper number. Added a few Maxi Gossamer jewels and this sexy garter from HolliPocket to finish it out. I'm really loving this look!

For pics today, I checked out Shady Falls. It's a 1920's roleplay sim with lots to see and do. It is so beautifully done and looks very true to the era but I was sadly shocked to find it empty. We spent quite a few hours exploring this fabulously done place and not one person tp'd in. Sad because it might have been fun to roleplay a little. Unisex

Gotta love unisex goodies on SL. I've been eyeing up this men's jacket by Pumpkin on the feeds for a few days now. I loved it so much I even told my boy bestie to get it but he kind of just blew me off in the way only boys know how so I figured what the hell and went to demo it for myself. Shockingly, it fit pretty well and I didn't even have to have a SL breast reduction so woohoo. I'm loving it even more on me than I did in pictures but of course, I had to take some pics of myself in it. This awesome leather jacket, shirt, and bag combo even comes with a HUD to mix and match the shirt and bags out to your own liking. <3 it so much and as you can see, it totally works for us chickies so yay for unisex!

Also showing off newness from ColdLogic. They just released these adorable minis with leggings underneath in a variety of colors as well as many other goodies so be sure to check them out too.

Izzie's has released this fabulously done wooden jewelry set for Perfect Wardrobe. Spring is the theme this time around and the brilliant turquoise color of this artistic set really sets the tone for some warmer weather.
