Hey all! Sorry I wanted to get this post out earlier but my laptop has been giving me issues the last few days and anytime I went to take a pic on SL, I crashed. Luckily today, I was able to snap a few shots to show off some gamer girl inspired goodies you can pick up at the Geeks N Nerds Fair which opened today and runs till Dec. 8th. Featuring some of SL's best stores, this event focuses on all items geeky or nerdy so grab the LM below to head on over to this event.

I have to say that I'm really a fan of all the decor this event has and Second Spaces' stuff just made me squeal in delight. I used to be a big time gamer chick but after I had my daughter, I gave it up. You know mom duties and such! From the cables to the controllers, I was reminded of my early Nintendo days. If you're a sucker for anything game inspired, you'll definitely want to hit up Second Spaces' spot at this event before checking out all the rest of the adorable geek inspired decor goodies this event has to offer.

Shoetopia starts tomorrow and although there are gazillions of adorable shoes to be had, I decided to show off some gacha goodies you can snag at this event along with these nicely textured flats from Ingenue. From poses to decor to Slink addon nails, the gacha prizes are wonderful and those of you who know me best know that I am a bit of a gachaholic so I had to play mostly all of these machines. Some of the machines have even generously donated a portion of their earnings to Shoetopia's chosen charity, Soles4Souls. Right now, this fabulous charity is aiding those affected by the tycoon in the Phillipines so be sure to stop by the gachas and try your luck after you've exhausted yourself trying on all the pretty shoes. Also, be sure to hit Ingenue first because you can't go wrong with a basic flat!

Lily Gives Me Redemption

The other day while goofing off on Plurk someone threw up links to a Flickr page featuring a newly built sim. Curiosity got the best of me and after drooling over the pics, I had to go visit this darkly beautiful place. It's called Redemption Hill and I think the talented creator of this sim is still working on it but it was open to the public and I got to check it out. I love the attention to detail that has been put into this sim so much that I'm sure I'll be back to take many more pics. Since I wanted to blog this artistically detailed tattoo by Rezipsa Loc that she has out for Culture Shock, I figured this was the perfect place to take pics. I think that the intricate rosary design and wings go well with the desolate and lonely feel of this place.

Pinkilicious

Hi peeps! Just another hunt inspired LOTD. Lots of fantastic hunt goodies on the grid right now and I nearly about fell over to see N-core was participating in the Womenstuff hunt. I'm a huge fan of N-core and was ecstatic to see that their prize was a pair of Coquettes. I've been in love with these shoes since they were released and happily snapped up this pink pair. Although, I wish they were red, I can't complain too much because they are so cute. Since I had pink heels on, I decided to do a pink post for you. Let the record show that this doesn't happen very often so enjoy my pinkilicious look.

Since my wifey Kimbra told me that Picnik was closing (Yes, I was out of the loop for once!), I went to their site and played around with cross process a bit to tone down my pinky look. I'm happy with the way this look turned out so I'll probably rock it till my lingerie post.
