Lily Gives Me Redemption

The other day while goofing off on Plurk someone threw up links to a Flickr page featuring a newly built sim. Curiosity got the best of me and after drooling over the pics, I had to go visit this darkly beautiful place. It's called Redemption Hill and I think the talented creator of this sim is still working on it but it was open to the public and I got to check it out. I love the attention to detail that has been put into this sim so much that I'm sure I'll be back to take many more pics. Since I wanted to blog this artistically detailed tattoo by Rezipsa Loc that she has out for Culture Shock, I figured this was the perfect place to take pics. I think that the intricate rosary design and wings go well with the desolate and lonely feel of this place.

Spring is Here

Spring is here! For TOSL and me at least. As stated in my last post, TOSL has a spring theme this weekend and since I love everything that was put out, I'm showing off a little more that you can nab at this awesome sale event.

Alexohol has released the most adorable MESH dresses available in 7 patterns. These springlike dresses come in 2 sizes and there is a demo at the store so head over and pick up you fave of the bunch for the low price of 75L. You really can't beat that for MESH you know! I'm also showing off these cutesy springlike addons to any pic. Witches & Rats has out a fun MESH flowered prop w/pose included. I like how innocent I look hiding behind these flowers. *Giggles* We all know I'm really not though! The stump complete with birdhouse and a little patch of flowers is from Dreamscapes Art Gallery. I'm not usually one to show off decor but when I saw this, I had to. It comes complete with 9 sits and features an on/off firefly option so if you're looking to add something new to your land, this might just be it.

Finally wrapping up my post is this special version of Izzie's newest skin release, Brianna. The purty skin features a special Spring edition makeup in a darker tone that accentuates the brightly colored clothing this season has to offer so if you've been wanting to try this skin, head on over and pick up this one at only 250L.

Tee'd Off

I know...randomness as a blog title. Well, sort of! Sticky Fingers has just released these casual styled minidresses called My Tee Dress. Available in 8 colors, this little number is very versatile. I initially wanted to wear it with tights but I couldn't find the right color and since I'm having an OCD day, I decided to layer it with jeans. I added a snake inspired belt from Pepper that is available at The Fashion Garret right now as well as their new Price Tag Boots to bring you my LOTD.

Oh and my hair! I just have to talk about my hair. It's the newest release from Wasabi Pills and comes in two options. I liked this version of Sybille better because it seemed fuller to me and I like to have luscious locks on Second Life. If you haven't tried mesh hair yet, Wasabi Pills is THE go to place for it. Ready, Aim, Fire!

Taste of Second Life has the Winter Blues this week and there are lots of blue and/or Winter goodies to be had. I absolutely fell in love with these fun snowball fights by Izzie's. Complete with wearable snowballs, this 18 pack of snowball fight poses is the perfect treat for a Winter's day.

I decided to show the poses off with these fun reindeer printed pants from Alexohol. They suit my style so much and are available for only 40 lindens. Yes, they have other winter blues inspired pants out as well but these fun little reindeer screamed at me to rock them for my snowball fight look. Well, not literally but they did beckon to my goofy sense of humor. Now, why do I feel like I walked into an Old Navy ad? Walking in a Winter Wonderland: Perfect Wardrobe Style

Short post tonight because I have a headache that won't quit. I blame it on my Christmas lights which don't want to stay up. I have a brick front and can't use hooks and tape is not working so yep, they have me stressed. Ah, I'll figure something out but anyways I wanted to show off another look from Perfect Wardrobe's Winter Wonderland round. More From the Ox Hunt w/Pepper Accessories

Ok, quick post cause it's almost 4 A.M. here. Can we say insomniac? Lol! Anyways, I just have to show you these smokin jeans that I picked up from Poison as their Ox Hunt prize. I love the grunginess of them and the texture. They go perfectly with these earplugs that were another Ox Hunt prize I snagged from Pekka. Perfectly summer, they feature a baby blue and yellow colored surf scene on them. I accessorized them with a new release from Pepper called the Summer Belt. This little belt comes with a pocket pouch filled with all sorts of goodies and is available in 4 different colors so swing by Pepper and snap it up. While you're there, look around and see if Pepper's previous Lazy Sunday item is still out. I was there yesterday, well now technically 2 days ago, and it was still there at its discount prize. A Grenade Free Wednesday Look

Today, I went visiting the Jersey Shore sim. The last time I was there, it was a seaside town reminiscent of Ocean City or Seaside Heights, New Jersey but I recently found out that the previous owner had left Second Life and that Holli Thespian of Holli Pocket is the new owner. Doesn't matter though because most of the stores are still the same and she's picked up quite a few new vendors whom I absolutely love. It looks like the Jersey Shore will remain a one stop shopping spot for me especially on Wednesdays because I absolutely enjoy a good sale and Grenade Free Wednesdays features one select item from each of the Jersey Shore stores for under 75 lindens.

Since the sim is in transition, not all of the stores had Grenade Free Wednesday items out but I managed to snag this soft cotton koala bear tank top that could double as a short dress. I paired it with my favorite black joggers from KHUSH and decided to show off these laid back poses I picked up from Lauria. I May Be Bad But I'm Perfectly Good At It

Just a quick post to show my LOTD. Lol! Yes, most of my day on Second Life consisted of me wearing this skimpy bra and panties set but that's just because I wanted to finish up my second entry for the "Are You Shaggable?" contest. My Second Life sister in law, Anabelle, kindly reminded me that the deadline was approaching soon via her blog so I got to work. I entered a picture about a week ago but wasn't totally impressed with it and had been batting around this idea ever since I saw these bondage props from KHUSH so here is my second attempt at this contest. Newness!

Happy Sunday bloggers! Lots of newness has been released this week and it's taken me a bit to go through all my notecards and such but as soon as I saw this jacket, I knew I had to feature it. Dorian is its name and it's a totally cool black zip up jacket with a hoodie. It comes in both a male and female version so it's perfect for couples and comes in two styles, long and short as well as with a prim resizer attached version. I liked the attached version better because it's more baggy and suits my look better. The plain short and long versions are fitted so it really just depends on your style I guess. This awesome jacket is available for only 50 lindens (OMG!) until June 19th at Bubblez Design.

Next up, I gotta show you the newest tattoo release from KHUSH.. Secrets & Lies is a sexy upper chest tattoo that has the quote, "My Heart Holds All Secrets; My Heart Tells No Lies." I'm not a big tattoo fan but I liked the meaning behind this one so I picked it up. Plus, it looked totally cute with my outfit! Oh, I'm also wearing the new June gift for Filthy. I switched to a darker skin tone for the summer but it's still absolutely gorgeous. Khex Mix

*Giggles* Ok, it sounds like Chex to me so that's how I came up with the title. Khex are the newest pair of shorts offered by the store, Khush. They are knee length checkered colored low waisted cargo shorts and remind me of something you'd see a sexy skater girl wearing. Khush is offering them in about 10 different colors but I really liked the brightness of the purple so jumped on them. Khush has been one of my longtime favorite stores on Second Life because it offers such versatile and fantastic finds. A while back, I splurged on this lovely top that I've paired with my new Khex shorts. I'm a sucker for anything black and Frisss seriously can go with any outfit and completing the outfit is their bangle bracelets offered in black. Oh, did I mention that the store is having a 50% off sale on all clothing for a limited time so hurry, hurry, hurry over and check them out.

Oh I forgot! Today I'm featuring a mystery skin. My SL brother has decided to try his hand at designing skins again and made this one for me so of course, I gotta show it off. This nameless as of yet skin features a slightly shiny tan yet flawless complexion with glossy neutral lips and a beige colored eye shadow. Vacation

Boo! I'm back! Well, sort of. I took a little blogging vacation because my Second Life job has been kind of busy. I'm a manager at a new club, Club Cyanide, and have been in charge of promoting and events. It's keeping me busy in the kind of busy that I need to have in order to stay on SL. Now, I took a minivacation (giggles, seriously an hour) from that in order to blog.

Today, I'm featuring a skin from Filthy. Now for those of you who have just started reading my blog, Filthy is a new skin designer who makes absolutely gorgeous skins. If you join the VIP group, she features a skin a month as a group gift for both males and females. Last night, she dropped the April gift but I haven't had time to check it out so I'm showing off one of her newer ones. Thalia is a beautiful work of art with slightly pink cheeks that remind you of a spring day. She comes in four different makeups as well as four skin tones. I'm wearing her pale natural skin with a mascara from BOOM.

A while back I found this store called Toxic Bish that has really cool clubber clothes. The top I'm wearing in this post comes from there and is available in many other colors besides orange. Project Themeory @ Grixdale

Last night, I decided to check out this week's Project Themeory collection. The theme is Will You Be My Valentine and even though I think I'm pretty over all the pink and red hearts, I couldn't pass up this find from Grixdale. I've never been to Grixdale before but have read about it in other fashion blogs. (Yes, blame it on me being a new blogger!) I found the store to have some gorgeous stuff but alas I was lagging as usual so I just scooped up this pretty prairie skirt and vest with tank combo. It's not the normal bright pink you see for Valentine's Day but instead is a dark rose paired with grey. It's available now till 11:59 P.M. tonight so run over to Grixdale and buy it!

 

The necklace I'm wearing I found on the Marketplace and guys if you are reading this (Probably not, but...), it's the perfect present for all budgets. It's a silver key on a chain, supposedly the key to your heart and it's scripted so that when you click it you can read off a poem or a special message. I put 1 Corinthians in mine and it works perfectly. It's only available on the Marketplace and it's only 35 lindens! Plus, it comes in gold and I believe some other options so be sure to check it out!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Black

Hi Second Life peeps! Super tired here from a busy RL work weekend but running behind in posting this so figured I'd squeeze in a real fast blog. This week's color in Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge is black. Like so many other bloggers have said, I have lots of black and it's one of my favorite colors to purchase clothing in so I thought it would be an easy challenge. First, I thought about doing a dark blog picture with an Emo theme but decided against that because those who really know me, know I'm not Emo so I went to my favorite spot to shop, Marketplace, and saw this Fallen Cupid outfit by one of my fave sexy designers, TayLay for when I'm hosting so of course, I had to snatch it up. Besides, it's fitting for this time of year and I hate Valentine's Day so wanted to see a shot down cupid. The other day while wandering around, I stumbled upon the store Ducknipple and absolutely loved the majority of their merchandise. I tped my friend because they had an off color freebie in their lobby and then we noticed that they had a whole discounted/free section. Of course being the savvy shopper I am, I decided to check it out. The stuff that Beanster Potato is offering for free or extremely low prices is well worth more. I picked up loads of goodies and even tp'd my partner in to pick up some of the guy stuff they had. One of the finds I found was an 8 pack of 80's cartoon tanks for only 25 lindens!!! The My Little Pony one I am wearing in the pics is just one of the totally cute tanks offered in this pack.

Then, while reading one of my fellow fashionista's blogs (Thanks Lashae!), I found out that one of my new fave skin lines, Filthy, had a skin featured at the Chic Boutique Discount store so I zoomed over there and picked it up for the low price of 90 lindens. This skin is so sweet and aptly named Nala's Bubblegum. While at Chic Boutique, I found these Frenzy jeans that go perfectly with my new pony tank so I just had to splurge on them too. Top this outfit off with one of my old favorites like Khush bangles and this totally cute gacha prize from Awesome Blossom and you get a little bit of everything.
