Hawaiian Delight

Heya all! So browsing the freebie blogs, I came across this beautifully done and slightly artistic hula girl outfit from Vita's Boudoir. It's their newest group gift and features a white hibiscus flower top as well as a palm frond skirt. Since it's like 100 degrees here today and I'm dreaming of being somewhere tropical, I figured it'd be perfect for a post today. Lucky for me, Taste of Second Life has a luau theme this week and I got my hands on these cutesy hula girl poses that Juxtapose has out for the event. This pose pack also comes with its own hibiscus flower jewelry (not shown) so if you just wanna use the flowers as accessories, you can always wear them or go full blown Hawaiian like I did.

I'm also wearing this beautiful dollarbie skin from Lissee. I know you can't see it that well but it's from a designer who owned a store called Mamboo Chic awhile ago. I absolutely loved her old stuff and her new stuff has blown me away so far. I gotta give props to my fellow Plurk buddeh, Xaqueline, for showing it off on there. Mixing It Up

Just a quick LOTD with some fabulousness that is around the grid right now. If you haven't been to The Tropicalia Bazaar or Perfect Wardrobe, you're missing out on some great sales. Everything I'm wearing besides the hair, eyes, and blazer can be found at these events. I'm in love with these platform wedges from Cool Beans because they are modifiable and I can mod them to match practically anything in my wardrobe. I'm also in major like with this pretty Fall inspired skin called Lula. This cutesy skin which comes from a side brand of Sorry Asia called Barbiedoll is only available at Perfect Wardrobe. You definitely need to get your butts over to both of these events before they change collections.

Hi readers! I got tired of Autumn inspired looks so I figured I'd go in a whole different direction. Magnifique Poses released these adorable poses complete with a yummy taffy for Theme Park. C is For.....Alphabet Challenge

Yay for C! You C, I'm not too far behind. C was ok but it reminded me that I really need to organize my inventory. I had trouble finding C items and I know I have lots. When I remembered that I was dropped this pretty dress from The Sea Hole, my look started to come together until I got to my shoes. Ahh, the only C shoes I have were these boots and a pair of chocolate Mary Janes that clashed super bad so I ditched the bottom half of the dress even though it's oh so pretty to give you my casual C look.

Yes, I'm really starting to get into the Fall theme so you're gonna see a lot of earth tones. Sorry, that's just the way the cookie crumbles and speaking of cookies.....

My Lucky Board Prowl

C'est la vie put out a new feather dress on their lucky board the other day and during my downtime, I've been seriously stalking this board in hopes of my letter coming up. There aren't ever many people around but this dress is so cute that I don't understand why. I've been on a budget lately so I've been looking for good quality freebies and cheapies and this dress is absolutely stunning in my opinion for free.

Today I tped into the store and it wasn't on my letter but I stayed put. A few other girls came in but I had my eye set on the prize and knew in some odd way that ? was gonna come up. Imagine my shock when it did in fact come up on the next round. I quickly slapped that Lucky Board to walk away with this dress and tped on out. I feel no remorse to those who weren't quick enough because I was there first. I'm sure you'd sympathize with me.

I felt like being countryfied today because this dress has a western influence in my opinion so I paired it with my favorite Miel cowboy boots and this adorable hair from Catwa. Neither are new but they are worth taking a look at. Well, I gotta saddle up now. See ya on the range.

Blog Hero Challenge Week 2: Don't Fear the Reaper

Omg! I'm so behind. This blog challenge is already on week four and here I am just doing week two. Lol! This is the reason I don't do well with challenges. So much to blog, so little time. Anyways, this week's challenge is the song, "Don't Fear the Reaper". I'm not really familiar with this song but I found a cool SIM with some reapers and hung out with them and this crow that talks back. Kinda creepy but kinda fun! Anyways, on with the pic! I'm not used to taking pics in any other windlight than my pretty ones so forgive me if the pic is a little dark. I don't know how to get a dark pic light without ruining the dark effect.

Today's Fifty Linden Friday list includes some beautiful designed pieces to add to any Second Life collection. From the girly girl to the ultra casual, the looks are abound with this list but I absolutely fell in love with this Goth-like blood red and black dress from Katatonik. I love the femininity of it combined with the dark colors. The lace detail is amazing and the resizer hud is so easy to use so I just had to show it off as a Dark Princess look. I combined it with some of my older faves and snapped up these adorable poses that are also a FLF special from Olive Juice to finish up my blog posting.

Omg, Kis is only showing off one picture. The sighs that I used to title post this blog are because I'm feeling a little frustrated with my lack of photography skills lately. I'm finding it hard to adjust my pictures to show off the complete look without stretching the pic to the point of blurriness so if anyone has some suggestions for me, I'd really appreciate it because I'm at a loss and it's depressing! I Put My Hand Up On My Hip

Ok, I know that's not how the song really goes but this pose puts that song in my head. *Giggles* Come on, we all have our dork moments and this is one of mine so let me be! *Sticks my tongue out* Now that you've let me have my moment, I gotta show off this sexy pair of leather pants I picked up from TART. They come in five colors but since it's the summer, I snapped up the white. I love the realistic detail of these pants and that they have two pants options for flats and heels. I also love how they how my figure oh so nicely and you will too once you head on over to TART and pick them up. The owners of TART/Fall-In are so generous that right now they have random freebies out that you can also snap up. I paired my new sexy pants with this adorable strapless stretchy like material top called Chrissy. Although these two weren't released together, I think they compliment each other so well that they look like a complete outfit.

I also found this fun tattoo on Marketplace by a new store that is going to be opening soon called Pink Bee. I love the originality of this design and it fits me so well because I will hit playfully out of frustration. I think we all do, don't we girls? Although this store doesn't have much out yet, I can't wait to see what other goodies appear and I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for this store inworld.

Newness!

Happy Sunday bloggers! Lots of newness has been released this week and it's taken me a bit to go through all my notecards and such but as soon as I saw this jacket, I knew I had to feature it. Dorian is its name and it's a totally cool black zip up jacket with a hoodie. It comes in both a male and female version so it's perfect for couples and comes in two styles, long and short as well as with a prim resizer attached version. I liked the attached version better because it's more baggy and suits my look better. The plain short and long versions are fitted so it really just depends on your style I guess. This awesome jacket is available for only 50 lindens (OMG!) until June 19th at Bubblez Design.

Next up, I gotta show you the newest tattoo release from KHUSH.. Secrets & Lies is a sexy upper chest tattoo that has the quote, "My Heart Holds All Secrets; My Heart Tells No Lies." I'm not a big tattoo fan but I liked the meaning behind this one so I picked it up. Plus, it looked totally cute with my outfit! Khush offers some very unique tattoo designs so check them out if you're a big tattoo fan. Here is a closeup:

Oh, I'm also wearing the new June gift for Filthy. I switched to a darker skin tone for the summer but it's still absolutely gorgeous. If you haven't joined this group yet, you should definitely get to it. For only 199 lindens, you get a sexy, flawless skin a month as well as 50% off all new releases for the first two days. I have been a member of this group for about 5 months and I can honestly say I wait with anticipation for the newest group gift. And did I mention all these sexy poses? Midnight Train

OMG!!! Lots of awesomeness to show you tonite as I wait for my train! While doing the Ice Cream Hunt, I stumbled across this great skin store called Mississippi Murder. For like 100 lindens or less, you can score some adorable skins in a variety of styles ranging from gothic to New Englander. I absolutely fell in love with this fatpack called Elf Dream. It came with 10 skins, a shape, and cute elf ears. While the skins are adorable, I gotta warn you that the ears are a little high so you'll have to adjust them or wear long hair so no one sees you're wearing two pairs of ears (1 human and 1 elfin)! Still this is a fabulous find and well worth the price.

Of course after buying a new skin, a girl needs some new hair to go with it so I zoomed over to Catwa and picked up this messy updo called Nada. If you've never been to Catwa, I recommend you pay them a visit. Their hair is perfect if you're trying to put together a slightly tousled but adorably sexy look.

After all this, I was browsing Marketplace and came across this totally hawt outfit from The Doll's House complete with accessories and boots for the fantastic promo price of 149 lindens!!! You seriously can't beat Marketplace when you're trying to find some different clothing on sale. Well, my train is finally here so I'm off! Happy Thursday bloggers!
