Nevermore

Browsing Plurk this afternoon, I came across Nieve Thor's Musical Meme and since music is a huge part of my life, I decided to give it a go. I'm showing off lots of newness from around the grid plus some stuff that's been out for a bit that I'm just getting around to blogging. 2. What is the last song you hear on your radio/ipod? (non-video): I don't remember! Don't hate me! It was on my way home from work last night at 6AM!

3. What is the last song you sing along on top of your lung?: Longview by Green Day...I sing everything I love that comes on the radio but I kind of had a drum solo with this one too yesterday...*looks embarrassed* while stuck in traffic on the expressway.

4. What is the one song you must listen everyday?: I don't have any I have to listen to everyday. I have favorites but I don't die from lack of listening.

5. What is/are the main song(s) that make you want to skip the playlist or change the station?: When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars, As Long As You Love Me by Justin Bieber, Beautiful by Mariah Carey, Mirrors by Justin Timberlake, oh God there are so many!

7.  Song that stuck in you head (doesn’t matter you love or hate): Heart Attack by Demi Lovato because it's my daughter's current favorite song. 

8. Song that you wish someone special (especially the singers themselves) serenaded only you with: Rhythm In My Soul by Jonny Craig because it's me and Carter's song and honestly if I was getting serenaded by the singer, Carter'd have to be there so he could fanboy Jonny.

9. Song that makes you wish it is written for you: :D I've had songs written for me. I'm a lucky girl. 

10. Song that always make you cry: Angel by Sarah McLachlan. They play it for the abused animals commercial here and it makes me bawl every time I hear it. Another one that makes me cry always is The Christmas Shoes by Newsong. Just listen to the lyrics and if you don't cry, you're a heartless person! Also, My Wish by Rascal Flatts is special to me and makes me tear up because it makes me think of my daughter.

Easter Cheaps

So by now, you're full of ham and either watching Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead but I've got a few Easter cheapies to show you. When I saw that The Knitting Circle was having an Easter egg hunt, I had to check it out. Imagine my surprise to find purty hair from Ploom and a gorgeous skin from Pink Fuel for under 10 lindens! Of course, I had to show them off. This hunt was supposed to be only until today so I'm not sure if the items are still out but hey, it doesn't hurt to go look right?

Rest of my look is awesomeness around the grid too. Bishes Inc. has out this sexy mini for the Big Boobies Fair that I believe starts tomorrow and Mstyle has out these fantastic heels even if they are pink for only a linden this week. My cutesy necklace is the most recent group gift from Sweet Leonard and my poses are from fri.day for Pose Fair. As you can see, I've been all over the place with this look. I can't help it with fabulous finds like these!

Beyond

I meant to post these pics last night but I got distracted by some of my guy friends and I'm a bad multitasker so here they are. Just a little looksie I built around this adorable newly released dress by Plastik. It's called the Aeris dress and comes in lots of fun textures making it the perfect little party dress. House of Fox is having a sale on all its mesh items so I picked up this pretty jacket and decided to layer. It almost didn't fit over the dress but it does so I'm happy. Just watch those super movey AO's.

My jewelry and clutch (yes, I'm aware you can't see it that well in these pics!) are sale items I picked up at Euphoria's Pre New Year's sale. Everything in this discounted room at Euphoria is on sale for only 50L and there is lots of cuteness. I mean Maxi Gossamer for that price alone makes me squeal. I believe this sale ends tonight so be sure to check it out if you haven't already.

American Gothic

The Costume Ball started last yesterday and I like most of you readers just had to go grab a few goodies. When I saw this masquerade ball themed hair from Ploom, I just knew I had to have it. It comes with three versions so if you're not a fan of hiding your pretty face behind a mask, you don't have to and if you just want the updo without a mask, you have that option too. Since I'm going to a Halloween party tonight on SL, I figured I'd show it off the way I'll be wearing it.

I'm also showing off this new version of paper.doll's Dark Magic dress. I loved the previous version of this dress in its shorter version but this version screams classy and gothic to me. Perfect for a visit to a haunted organ room as you can see. Finishing up my gothic LOTD are these lovely poses from Label Motion. Label Motion is one of my go to spots for poses so I was happy to nab this discounted pack at the event. Gotta love unisex goodies on SL. I've been eyeing up this men's jacket by Pumpkin on the feeds for a few days now. I loved it so much I even told my boy bestie to get it but he kind of just blew me off in the way only boys know how so I figured what the hell and went to demo it for myself. Shockingly, it fit pretty well and I didn't even have to have a SL breast reduction so woohoo. I'm loving it even more on me than I did in pictures but of course, I had to take some pics of myself in it. This awesome leather jacket, shirt, and bag combo even comes with a HUD to mix and match the shirt and bags out to your own liking. <3 it so much and as you can see, it totally works for us chickies so yay for unisex!

Reflections

The Mesh Around Hunt started the other day and I saw lots of cuteness on the feeds so I had to make a list and go get what I wanted. So far, my favorite hunt find is this pretty hair from .ploom. called Daisy. Daisy comes in the indecisive pack (so generous!) and has a texture change hud for the flowers and hair ties. I love the hippie vibe of this pretty hair so much and it reminds me of one of my fave wifeys, Kimbra, so it's a win. If you're looking for mesh cuteness, check out the Mesh Around Hunt.

I'm taking pics in the newest skybox offering from Trompe Loeil. This pretty skysphere is available at this round of Fameshed and features a pretty reflection pond as well as nicely done scenery. I believe that designer said she was inspired to make this from the television GoT which me and almost all of Plurk is in love with so if you're a GoT fan, you'll definitely love this. It comes with or without the stand so if you're low on prims, it's still an option so be sure to head on over to Fameshed and check this out.

We're Building It Up

Hey all! I've got a looksie at Ploom's release for the Skin Addiction Showcase. This pale skin complete with red eye makeup and neutral lips is called Lea Dahlia and comes in 5 tones plus optional cleavage layers plus prim lashes. She's a pretty girl so you'll want to head on over to try her own for yourself.

I'm also showing off the newness from Plastik and Zombie Suicide. This top from Plastik comes in 4 packs of 3 and is mesh cuteness. I like the simple stripes of this one the best but there are lots of other fun patterns to be had. My piercings and color customizable necklace are from Zombie Suicide. The piercings are supposed to be male only but I think they work for me too and I love being able to switch out the dice and bead colors with this necklace. If you need some newness, be sure to hit up both of these stores.

Finishing up my LOTD is the newest group gift from Truth. I jumped for joy when I opened up the box and saw this basic mesh ponytail waiting for me. Gotta love when Truth spoils us with a present! Oh and Frooti is having a pose sale for a limited time so of course I had to hit them up for some cheap but fabulous poses.

Laced in Sticky Fingers

Sticky Fingers has been on a lace kick lately and I don't mind one bit. Lace to me is sophisticated with a kick of sexy. Perfect for the look I'm usually going for on Second Life. Their newest release is called My Lace Top Dress and comes in 8 colors ranging from the oh so neutral black to a bright fun yellow. I love how the lace top shows just a little glimpse of my cleavage without being in your face. Yes, I know I am late in blogging them but there is still time plus I had to play marriage counselor on Second Life so I'm behind on this post. You can choose to wear either the leather version or the damask and have the option of ribbons or no ribbons. Since I'm going for a simpler look, I chose to wear the plain damask version.
