Avatar Look Alikes Challenge

Those of you on Plurk today probably did this meme of Berry's and had a laugh over your results. I did it with a couple of my SL pics and my RL pic. I was happy with the RL one telling me I looked like Tiffani Thiessan and Katie Holmes even though I don't think I look like either of them but the first SL picture I used told me my avatar resembled a bunch of ugly men so I pouted for a bit.

I saw this pose by Kuro in Motion with a customizeable sign and wanted to take a picture for someone special in my life so after I was done doing so, I decided to try again with my new picture. I'm happier with these choices for my SL avatar's celebrity look alike even if I think it's just dependent on the hair.

Drift Into Autumn

So as soon as I saw this coat on Flickr, I knew I'd have to have it. It's the newest mesh release by a store new to the grid called Drift. This trench coat is part of her Autumn collection and comes with 4 different colors included that are reminiscent of the upcoming season for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. I loved how soft the texture looked on this coat in the pictures I saw and I'm happy to report that it looks just as good in person if not better and for once, I'm rocking an XXS size. Don't ask me how but I guess the way the fabric drapes my body was forgiving in all the right spots. *Giggles* If you haven't checked out Drift yet, be sure to because this is definitely a store you want to keep your eye on. Everything they have on Marketplace so far looks beautiful and I can't wait to see more in their newly opened inworld store.

Since Autumn is my favorite season, I decided to take a walk in the park. I love hearing the crunch of the fallen leaves under my feet as the cool breeze blows across my face. I stopped to admire these pumpkins that someone carved into fun jack o lantern's for one of my favorite upcoming holidays and then I decided to relax on this bench. As you can see, we are slowly drifting into Autumn and I'm loving it.

It's My Slumber Party & I'll Cry If I Wanna

So Perfect Wardrobe has a sleepover theme this round and I thought it'd be the perfect excuse to have a fun time with my SL bestie, Dina, so I invited her over for makeovers and pillow fights and some other activities.  *Winks*

But as you can see, Dina was a little busy. She kept getting *ahem* business calls so I jumped on her bed and waited patiently for her to finish up. Finally, I got tired of being ignored so I decided to text her and tell her to come play with me.

Well, she must have realized that I was getting antsy for some fun times because she finally put down that damn phone and showed off her sexy panties to me. As you can see, it was worth the wait! *Giggles*

In the Summertime

Heys all! I've got more goodies from Taste of Second Life to show off. Alexohol has out these bright tropical inspired mesh dresses with pockets called the Summer Chill dress. I like the casual feel of these so much that I started dreaming of vacation. This little number would be something I'd toss on with flip flops for a cruise so of course, I tossed my new beach bag from Je Suis that is available in 3 color combinations for TOSL as well and went looking for my own cruise ship or in this case, a yacht.

I paired my casual vacation wear with the newest release from Truth called Brandy. I love the tousled sexiness of this mesh goodness combined with the adorable sideswept braid. I also snatched up the Al Vulo skin at Grunge Soul Project because I loved the soft face combined with the bright summery eyeshadow. Well, the captain has just granted me permission to come aboard so I'm off. Muahz!

A Thousand Years

Hey all! I've got some newness from DeColores to show off. It's a fun, mesh summer romper and it's available in a few different colors. I chose to show off the cafe color because it went perfectly with this awesome necklace from Je Suis that is available for Keep Calm and Keep Shopping. This necklace is completely customizable and you can change the rope, jewel, and hardware options plus add your own pics to it. The skin I'm wearing is the newest group gift from MyDear. I've never really heard of this skin brand before but when I saw it all over the feeds, I just knew I had to go pick it up. I love the light freckles across the bridge of my nose and collar area and the sunkissed tone. I'm definitely going to be keeping my eye on this designer and you should too!

P.S. Isn't my wifey's sim so pretty? I just had to sneak there and take some pics. She does an awesome job landscaping, wouldn't you agree?

Wow! Three posts in less than 24 hours. I think this is a new record for me. Anyways, Perfect Wardrobe started a new round today and the theme this time around is 50's Pinup Girls but for some reason when I saw this partial mesh negligee by [A]renesmee, my mind went a little further back in time. I paired my new flowy gown with this vintagey skin called Cassandra by Izzie's and a pretty texture change pearl necklace by Je Suis to give you my jazz singer look. Now go get to Perfect Wardrobe and pick up your own retro look.

My short hairdo is the newest release by Tameless and is called Elizabeth. Elizabeth features a texture change hairpin and comes in a variety of colors so if you're looking for a new do, be sure to check out Tameless. I think this hair goes so well with this look and maybe Elizabeth will work for you too.
