Like The Moon And The Stars And The Sun

Good quote and kind of fitting to this post because sometimes the people closest to you are very different from you and that's exactly how it is with me and one of my SL besties, Dinalya. Anyone who knows us can attest that we are like night and day in so many ways. It's a wonder that our friendship works out beings we are so different but you know what they say, opposites attract, so our friendship shines on.

When we both put on our Schadenfreude dresses, I said we were the sun and the moon so that's how this quote comes into play. Oh and we are letting Quinn in his new Kauna suit be the stars I guess. He initially said he was space junk but stars are prettier so yeah. Besides, he's just happy to be have two hot chicks in his arms! :D Seriously though, I don't know what I'd do without these two in my SL. I love them both very much and am happy that I met them. They keep a smile on my face in this otherwise gray time in my SL.

Bound In The Spring w/Kimbra

Yay! It's time for another joint post between me and my oldest SL bestie, Kimbra. We love doing co-blogs and when we saw all the pretty spring goodies out at Perfect Wardrobe and Fameshed, we just had to show off our looks together. My sexy sundress is by e! and is available at Fameshed in a variety of pretty colors with or without fades. I fell in love with these whimsical dragonfly hair bows that Anatomy has out for this round of Perfect Wardrobe so I decided to wear one to top off my new spring ensemble. Don't we look adorbs?

Oh and we had quite a few laughs taking this pic thanks to this cutesy friend pose from !bang that is available at Pose Fair. See me and Kimbra are curvy shorties and the pose needed to be moded a bit. We couldn't get the hands exactly how the vendor ad was so we settled for touching fingers. It's funny how much best friends think alike so I'm going to paste a little of our convo so you can laugh too.

It's A Sweet Fantasy: A Vintage Fair Looksie

Heys all! I've got loads of goodies to show off tonight from your favorite fantasy inspired store, Plastik. The pretty leather corset and yummy eyes are a sneak peek and going to be for sale at the upcoming Vintage Fair and the fabulous horns are a new release. I'm not usually the type to run around with horns on but when I tried these on, I was blown away by all the different HUD options there were for customization. The well done horns also come with the optional circlet that includes its very own HUD so if you're big on fantasy items, you'll definitely want to nab these babies.

I'm also showing off this pretty boho skirt from Death Row Designs. I was looking for a cream colored skirt initially and my girlie, Whisper, told me this store had some cute skirts so of course, I took her word for it and went to see for myself. I was blown away with all of the different options and the price couldn't be beat. Surprisingly, they had this pretty multicolored one that went perfectly with my new corset so bam, it was fate! If you're into boho goodies, go check out these pretty skirts because as you can see, they are super duper cute.

Mmm Ice Cream!

Just a few pics showing off this adorable outfit I snagged compliments of the Ice Cream Spring Hunt which ends tomorrow. This hunt is inspired by one of my favorite summer treats and since it's about 90 degrees out here, I thought I'd get some ice cream Second Life style.

This outfit is the prize at Esther Jen. It's a romantic lace mauve top that falls off the shoulders and paired with a pair of super fun jeans that have designs of ice cream on them! So cute! I know you really can't see the design but the outfit totally fits my fun style. There is also an ice cream bra and panties set to wear under it.

I'm showing off this outfit with some yummy ice cream cone props courtesy of look.sharp and Mississippi Murder. The one from look.sharp comes with a fantastic couple pose to have an ice cream fight with but since I didn't have any friends on at the time I took these pics, I'm not showing it. And the cone from Mississippi Murder comes with a messy faced skin that shows what happens when you enjoy your summer treats too much.

I finished this look off with some awesome poses from !bang that were yesterday's Super Bargain Saturday special ( I'm not sure if they are still at the discount price) and one of my favorite Filthy skins. Their 50% off storewide sale ends today so run, run, run over and splurge on some sexy new skinage. Well, I better get to eating this cone before it melts all over my new outfit.
