Hawaiian Delight

Heya all! So browsing the freebie blogs, I came across this beautifully done and slightly artistic hula girl outfit from Vita's Boudoir. It's their newest group gift and features a white hibiscus flower top as well as a palm frond skirt. Since it's like 100 degrees here today and I'm dreaming of being somewhere tropical, I figured it'd be perfect for a post today. Lucky for me, Taste of Second Life has a luau theme this week and I got my hands on these cutesy hula girl poses that Juxtapose has out for the event. This pose pack also comes with its own hibiscus flower jewelry (not shown) so if you just wanna use the flowers as accessories, you can always wear them or go full blown Hawaiian like I did.

I'm also wearing this beautiful dollarbie skin from Lissee. I know you can't see it that well but it's from a designer who owned a store called Mamboo Chic awhile ago. I absolutely loved her old stuff and her new stuff has blown me away so far. I gotta give props to my fellow Plurk buddeh, Xaqueline, for showing it off on there. In the Summertime

Heys all! I've got more goodies from Taste of Second Life to show off. Alexohol has out these bright tropical inspired mesh dresses with pockets called the Summer Chill dress. I like the casual feel of these so much that I started dreaming of vacation. This little number would be something I'd toss on with flip flops for a cruise so of course, I tossed my new beach bag from Je Suis that is available in 3 color combinations for TOSL as well and went looking for my own cruise ship or in this case, a yacht.

I paired my casual vacation wear with the newest release from Truth called Brandy. I love the tousled sexiness of this mesh goodness combined with the adorable sideswept braid. I also snatched up the Al Vulo skin at Grunge Soul Project because I loved the soft face combined with the bright summery eyeshadow. Well, the captain has just granted me permission to come aboard so I'm off. Muahz!

I Like A Little Color

Yep, like the title says, I like a little color in my SL. I've been meaning to blog this mesh dress I picked up from Boom as part of their NYC opening gift. This pretty tied dyed mesh number comes in three bright colors and can be worn either over pants like I did or as a dress. I'm not sure if it's still available but you can always head on over and check.

I'm also showing some prizes I nabbed at the SL 9th Birthday hunt. This fun mesh hair is one of the prizes from DeLa. There are two versions hidden and both versions include a regular color and a party color in celebration of the event. I liked the longer version better so I'm rocking it. I also picked up these pretty silver stilettos while I was there from My Pretty Pixels! They come complete with a skin hud for customization and are their hunt prize. If you haven't checked out this hunt yet, be sure to jump on it.

Oh and check out my awesome eyeshadow. This is newness from Blacklace Beauty and comes in 5 mismatched combos. I'm loving the originality that Gem has put into this item so much and how playful it is. She's also got some new lipsticks out (not shown) so if you need a makeup fix, go get them!

Happy Birthday TOSL!

This week, Taste of Second Life is celebrating its 2nd birthday. This means lots of birthday related things to honor the fabulous event that the lovely organizers of TOSL have put together. Blacklace decided to put out a fabulous lace detailed mesh party dress as its item. To put it in my wifey's words, this dress is sexy yet sophisticated. As always I gotta comment about Blacklace's attention to detail. The corset top looks very realistic and the lacing is gorgeously done as usual.

Blacklace Beauty decided that the event should be a masquerade party and has put out a complimentary lace mask that comes with or without an eye contour option. This pretty little accessory is tintable so if you want to wear it in another color, you can easy change the color but as you can see the black matches this dress so perfectly, I couldn't help but wear it any other way.

I'm also showing off this cute little necklace the was just released at Rezipsa Loc for the May Flower round of TOSL. Although this round of TOSL has past, I'm sure this fun Spring necklace is probably still out. If you're not a fan of daisies, she has it with other flowers so if you're looking for a new accessory, be sure to check it out.

Oh, I'm also wearing the newest Exile release that is available at the My Attic event. This adorable mesh hair complete with a texture change hairband is available for only 95L a pack. *Squeals* I just love a good hair on sale. I had some trouble with the texture menu initially but thankfully my bestie helped me figure out to use Ctrl Alt and T to find the menu on my little nose. And now I leave you with some tunes!

To A Lullaby

Told you I'd be back with a sexier post. Taste of Second Life is back in action and Blacklace has out this burlesque themed lingerie in teal called Rendezvous. Rendezvous comes complete with 2 skirt options plus the option to wear without. I love the detail that Blacklace puts into all of its items and the lace embellishments and texturing of Rendezvous is exquisite so be sure to get to Blacklace and pick up this naughtiness before TOSL is over tonight.

I'm also showing off this beautifully done skin by Felony called Salome that is available for free for a limited time at the Fibromyalgia Awareness Fair. I initially bought this skin in a paler shade at Festival of Sin so I was happy to find out I could nab another tone for free all in support of a illness that a lot of people have no information about. Sunny Weather

So it's absolutely gorgeous here in my part of the world today. You know the kind of weather where you just want to stay in your yard and barbeque all day while you enjoying the calm breeze and warm sunshine. Well, since it's that type of day, I decided to just that on SL as well. I figured I'd show off some mesh goodies that are available for Taste of Second Life and Keep Calm and Keep Shopping.

First, Alexohol has out these fun beachy print skirts for TOSL. I like how they flow and the playful yet sexy vibe I get while wearing them. There are plain versions as well as a different version so if patterns aren't your thing, you should still check them out because they come in 7 different mesh sizes and you'll absolutely loves them.

I'm also showing off this adorable mesh vintage patio set from Little House of Curios that will be out for the Keep Calm and Keep Shopping event which starts tomorrow. TOSL Goes Green But I Go Dark

So Blacklace has another super pretty lingerie set out for Taste of Second Life's Go Green theme. This sexy little number comes with two wear options. You can either wear the green bustier or you can just wear the sheer black stuff that is hidden underneath. Since I like a little color in my life, I decided to rock the green. Besides, it matches one of the pretty Spring eyeshadows complete with lashes that Blacklace Beauty has put out. Both of these goodies are available for 99L each so hurry on over and pick them up!

The poses I am using are from Art Body Store and available at Kawaii Fair. They are wing poses and since Fantasy Faire is going on and I'm seeing so many winged looks, I decided to show these off a bit in case anyone is looking for these kinds of poses in particular. So have you ever been inspired for a post by a song you've recently heard? Well, tonight I was. New stuff that I heard on MTV during some show called Fantasy Factory. Spring Forward: TOSL Sneak Peek

Taste of Second Life has a Spring theme this weekend in honor of Daylight Savings Time and I was more than happy to spring forward with some sexy lace lingerie from Blacklace. This yummy little number features a semi sheer slip with bow accents and naughty garter belted stockings. I love the springlike color of this little number so much because it always gets me in the mood for this season. As always, all of Blacklace's lingerie is transferable so if you're wanting to send someone else some sexiness, you can.

Sugar is Sweet

TOSL has a Sugar is Sweet theme this weekend in honor of Valentine's day and although I'm not a fan of the holiday, I can't help but share some of the cuteness this round. This round was one of my faves with me loving just about everything the designers put out but I'm only sharing a look with a few of them.

Acid & Mala has out this cutesy thermal bunny dress. This dress also comes with a matching bodysuit and top making it a real bargain for only 55L I believe. I'm also showing off these adorable poses from Juxtapose called Sweet Emotion. They are nice stands to show off any outfit you're wearing. Finally, I'm toping off my look with these nails from Izzie's. I love how Izzie's includes more skin tones than most nail designers making them easier for me to wear. I know you really can't see them in my pic but you need to head over and snag them up if you're looking for some Valentiney nails. I Am A Chic Geek

TOSL has a geek chic theme this week and there is lots of nerdy goodness to be had. I'm showing off these fun light saber poses inspired by the movie Star Wars that are out at Magnifique as well as this cute Periodic Table of Elements themed shirt by Rezipsa Loc. You need to grab this list and put together your own geeky look.

The rest of my look is compliments of La Venta Eventa. Although I have issues with the organizers of this event, I can't help but support some of my fave stores who participate in this event. Somnia is one of them and she's got out a fatpack of jeans (shown here in black) for the low price of 90 lindens I think. I have been on the hunt for a new pair of jeans and these nicely textured ones may just be my new faves. I'm also rocking some glittery nails from Rezipsa Loc that I realized you can't see but they are so pretty and I love that they are tattoo layers so you don't have to worry about detaching them so be sure to check out both of these stores in La Venta this week.

Oh, and did I mention that Truth is having a half off sale as well as many other awesome stores at their Truth District location. I absolutely loved Sophie when I saw her released but waited to get her and I'm so happy I did because I got her for only 125L now. 52 Weeks of Color: Coral

Yes, I'm already behind. What can I say? I'm a big time procrastinator. It's partly in fault because I'm not a huge fan of the color Coral. It reminds me of pink and yes, even though I blog pink, I hate pink. That's probably why I chose an orangish coral. Lucky for me, Alexohol is designing goodies for the challenge so I was lucky enough to snag their Brandy Puff Dress that is available for Taste of Second Life in this color. Don't worry! If you love the dress as much as I did, you can blog it in Electric Blue because they also have it in that color. Now TOSL is over in a few so hurry on over and snap this pretty girl up.

Oh, and I have to rave about the hair real quick. It's the newest release from Tameless and I just have to say that I absolutely adore her short styles. New Year A Little Late

First, I want to wish everyone a very happy 2012. I hope it rocks for you. Secondly, I wanted to blog this dress last night but when I finally got done celebrating, it was very early in the morning here so I went to sleep instead. One of my friends said that New Year's is celebrated for the whole week so I figured I can still show off this glittery number from Penned available at the newest round of The Black Market. This sapphire blue dress comes complete with a detachable skirt so you can rock it as a bodysuit as well. The eyes I'm wearing are also for sale at The Black Market from sauce and come in a pack featuring 3 spacey colors perfect for any fashionista.

I'm also showing off these nicely done champagne glass poses that are from Juxtapose for Taste of Second Life. Since you never need an excuse for a glass of bubbly, you should make sure you nab these as well.

Lastly, I have to talk about this pretty new hair I picked up from Milena. Bonnie is its name and it comes in two styles complete with a color HUD for easy customization. I love how its loose waves softly frame my face. I've never purchased hair from here but when my Rumor cohort, Desi, told me about it, I just had to check it out and will definitely be back. I feel like this champagne is starting to go to my head so I'm off. *Giggles* Here's to the new year!

Merry Christmas

Tis the season to be jolly and all that other good stuff. Christmas Eve is here for those of us in North America and I just wanted to wish all of my readers a very Merry Christmas. Oh and if you don't celebrate Christmas, Happy Holidays! I hope that you all were nice and get lots of goodies from Santa. I was nawty so I'm getting coal but who knows maybe someone will share their gifts with me. Lots of Hunt Awesomeness & Some Newness

I love the holidays because they usually mean more hunts on Second Life and who doesn't like a good hunt prize. I started doing the A Depraved & Desolate Winter Hunt yesterday after I saw this adorable sweater from NV on a feed. I just had to have it and then after that, I was hooked on this hunt. I managed to also snag these fabulous boots from Death Row Designs as well as this cutesy messenger bag from Sweet Leonard. You need to get hunting if you want to score some awesomeness like this.

Now for the newness! I'm also showing off this fantastic bun hair from Tameless. It's their newest release and features a HUD for easy color changing. It's called Mindi and is perfect for any wintery scarf/sweater look. I topped the look off with some nicely done new poses from Magnifique and you got my LOTD. Enjoy!

Ready, Aim, Fire!

Taste of Second Life has the Winter Blues this week and there are lots of blue and/or Winter goodies to be had. I absolutely fell in love with these fun snowball fights by Izzie's. Complete with wearable snowballs, this 18 pack of snowball fight poses is the perfect treat for a Winter's day.

I decided to show the poses off with these fun reindeer printed pants from Alexohol. They suit my style so much and are available for only 40 lindens. Yes, they have other winter blues inspired pants out as well but these fun little reindeer screamed at me to rock them for my snowball fight look. Well, not literally but they did beckon to my goofy sense of humor. Now, why do I feel like I walked into an Old Navy ad?
