Wintery Friends

Hey all! Long time no see! I've been a little busy with work and super tired the last few nights so I haven't had the chance to blog but I wanted to show off these adorable friend themed poses that Nani has out for Winter Trend. This event features lots of wintery cuteness and runs till December 13th so be sure to check it out. I absolutely fell in love with these chipmunk poses called Snuggly. They come with two attachable chipmunks just perfect for a wintery friend look.

And if you're into human friends more, Nani also has out a cute couples pose that I think works perfectly with friend pics as well called Snug. I grabbed one of my wives to pose pretty with me to show it off. Say hi to Jordan everyone! Yes, she's wife #3 but I love her just as much as the others. :D

Scattered Into the Wind

Hey all! Just a quick little post with some goodies I picked up around the grid. I felt like doing a little artistic pic but taking blog pics at 2AM limits creativity. Still the pic is pretty in my opinion and I love this look so I figured I'd share it with you. The dress is from Fashionably Dead and available at this round of Collabor88. It makes me kind of feel like Wendy from Peter Pan especially when I combine it with the new Truth hair, Lotus. Anyways, I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday. Hugs!

A Skin Fair Sneak Peek: Izzie's

As most of you are aware, Skin Fair 2013 starts on March 15th and will run till the 31st. Covering 2 sims, this event features newness and specials from most of your favorite skin designers. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this adorable Asian inspired skin with a dewy face from Izzie's. Her name aptly is Asia and she comes in 6 tones including my favorite one, Pale (shown in my style pics), designed specifically for Gingers.

The 4 main tones of light, medium, peach, and tan come with 4 brow options, the pale Ginger themed one comes with a special freckled version, and the dark tan version comes with just the dark brows.

I decided to mix and match the eyeshadows and lipsticks you receive with each skin to give you an idea of the many options this pretty girl has. One of the best things about Izzie's skins is that when you buy one, you get all of the makeups. Most skins charge per makeup so to me, this is a huge incentive to try Izzie's out if you haven't already so mark your calendar for this awesome event!

Seaside at Roche

Hey all! Just a quick LOTD with some goodies I picked up at this round of Collabor88. My faves were definitely the Fashionably Dead tees, which I picked up in a few colors, and this pretty Glam Affair skin with bright red lips. I'm a huge fan of ruby red lips and think they look very sensual so when I see a nicely done skin sporting them, I have to snap it up.

I also picked up this gorgeously done jewelry from Maxi Gossamer called Khaleesi's Temptation and since I'm a huge GoT fan, I just had to have it. It comes with both metal options as well as tons of bead options so you can't go wrong with it. I love how the red and black beads tie into the rest of my outfit. It looks like it was made to go together! Anyways, enough rambling from me! This round of Collabor88 was one of my faves so be sure to check it out too!

Pondering

Lately I've been questioning the meaning of why I'm on SL and considering how I interact with people. I realized I place too much value on some of the friendships I've made on here so I'm trying to spend less time focusing on those things and more time doing what makes me happy. It saddens me that I've misjudged people so badly these last few months but even SL is a learning experience so I guess I'll just chalk it up to one of those.

Anyways, my look today is built around this adorable top that I picked up at Collabor88 by Fashionably Dead. I love the light glittery threads through it and the demure neckline.

I also saw one of my good friends wearing this DeLa hair in a post so I told her I was going to copycat her and rock it today too because I had forgotten about it. It's just too cute to be forgotten!

I'm also wearing these sexy stilettos by Mstyle that you can pick up for half off right now. I love basic pumps so I just had to grab these.

Finally, I just have to mention this cute tattoo that is newness from Sweet Leonard. It's a heart wrapped around an infinity symbol and even though, I'm not in love currently, I loved the design so I decided to rock it. Sweet Leonard's been on a roll lately cranking out new goodies so be sure to pay them a visit.
