Yep! It's meme time again and this time, I'm doing Berry's Geeky Meme. I absolutely loved everything at Geeks N Nerds so I figured while I was showing off some of the goodies you can pick up there, I'd let you know just how geeky I really am. This embossed top from Ison is wonderful. It comes with a hud so you can mix and match out the shirttails and I absolutely love these bowtie heels from fri.day. Although I'm wearing basic black, they come in a variety of colors and also feature a hud to change the bow color. Finally, my awesome pose props are from Nani poses. I love books so much that I just had to show them off. I mean who doesn't like reading right? If you haven't been to Geeks N Nerds, there is still plenty of time so hurry hurry hurry over!
1. What do you consider yourself to be? Geek? Nerd? Dork? None of the above? All of the above? I believe I'm all of the above. I love video games, technology, gaining knowledge, and I'm socially awkward. I don't feel that I'm strongly any of the three because I know there are people out there who fit these categories better than me but I do feel I possess qualities from all of them.
2. What was the first computer you ever owned? I really don't remember! I know it was a desktop though and I bought it when I was around 18. I hate desktops now though and will forever own a laptop.
3. When and how did you first get on the internet? With Comcast at the same time that I got my computer.
4. Which geek fandom do you subscribe to? I'm very big on trivia. I love any kind of trivia game I can play and am a vast source of useless facts. I'm also heavily into SL obviously and I used to love playing Magic the Gathering but no one where I live currently plays.
5. Star Trek or Star Wars? Neither. I'm not a fan. Sorry!
6. How Geeky Am I?I got a 72%. I don't think this quiz measures geekdom accurately though.

2. Does your avatar look like the real you? Nope but I wish she did! I try to maintain some curves with Kis though because I'm not thin in RL and I feel awkward being so in SL.
3. Do you wear underwear/panties underneath your clothing when out and about on the grid? Nope, I usually forget and I've been told about it dozens of times! *sticks my tongue out at my besties*
4. If you won a million linden dollars, what would be the first thing you buy inworld? Hmm, probably presents for all my besties. I like giving presents! I'd then pay my land for a year and cash the rest out.
5. Have you ever bought something in SL and then realized afterwards that you had already owned it from before? Nope. I know what I like and have a pretty decent memory so I am able to keep track of what I've purchased.
6. Have you ever done anything in Second Life that would be considered illegal in real life? Yep. I've done everything from escort to breaking and entering to being a public menace to shooting people during urban RP.
7. If you could go out on a date with any other avatar, who would it be? My heart, Carter.
8. Who, in your opinion, was the greatest avatar to ever slive? Myself! Just kidding!! Everyone has an amazing avatar and it's wonderful to see the many ways people in SL represent themselves.
9. What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done inworld? Hmm sooo many, responded in the wrong window, pasted chat convos to the wrong person, tp'd somewhere naked, logged in on my ex and the girl he was playing at the same time as me cuddling on his couch. SL is full of embarrassing moments. You just learn to laugh about them.
10. If your avatar had a mind of its own, what do you think it would say to you? Be happy. SL is supposed to be fun!
So I just had the most amazing afternoon/evening on SL and now I've got a few goodies to show off to you. Sweet Leonard, my go to accessory store released the prettiest stone necklace. This earthy necklace comes in 2 versions, long and short, so you can wear it with almost anything your heart desires. I paired it with one of my many Tee*fy dresses and Glam Affair skins from The Arcade to bring you this post.
I've also got a look at these gorgeous Ascension eyes from Ikon that are available exclusively at Numberology until June 15th. These pretty peepers feature a reflection in them and come in over 30 different colors. I figured I'd show off a few of my favorites and I must say that I'm usually a green eyed lass on SL but for some reason, I can't take off this Quicksilver color. Al Vulo has out this pretty peacock makeup version of her previously released Aisha skin in sunkissed at TDRF. I love the bare glossy lips of this baby and the eye makeup is very subtle against the warm tone of this skin. As always, Al Vulo's TDRF offering comes complete with brown and blonde brows as well as Lola Tango appliers and pretty eyes so if you're looking for a bargain, go grab this pretty girl.

Spring is here and Collabor88 has a new round with a theme of "New Romance" that goes perfectly with the season. This round features lots of lace and pretty pastels. As soon as I saw Tee*fy's offerings for this round, I knew I'd have to nab them. This pretty tank and floral skirt are their offering for this event. I paired it with this pretty D!va hair that features customizable flowers and a headband. Since I wanted a super springlike look, I went to Izzie's and took my pics on her pretty sim. As you can see, Spring is in the air and it's the perfect time for a picnic so won't you join me.

Hi readers! I've got a little Fifty Linden Friday LOTD to show you. Lots of cuteness this week and when I saw this adorable partially mesh dress by House of Fox in my absolute fave color, I squealed a little inside and ran over to get it. I also loved this simple mesh vest by Tee*fy and realized that when I put them both on together that it looked pretty darn cute so I added some cutesy gold toned jewelry, both new and old, and my fave cowboy boots to pose pretty for you all.
And now, I gotta talk about hair. This sweet, youthful updo is Dura's female Halloween gift and comes in a bunch of colors. I love it so much and the Dura group is free to join so I'm like woohoo. There is also a male group gift too with a hat and I don't know about you but I like hats so be sure to go get your gifties if you haven't already.
Finally, my location today is courtesy of the fashion feeds. I saw a pretty couple's blog taken here and just had to go explore it myself. So due to a combination of one hyper six year old and a few overnight shifts with little sleep, this is a quick post but I just wanted to show off some cuteness I picked up for discount at various events this weekend. I love being a redhead so when I snapped up this hair by Wasabi Pills at Cinema, I knew instantly that I was going to get the Glam Affair Ginny skin in a lighter tone then I normally wear from Collabor88. I threw on this cute and cozy sweater from The Secret Store and decided to pose pretty in this autumn themed skybox from A:S:S. Both these items are available for Lazy Sunday and as you can see, they are each awesome in their own right.
And speaking of posing pretty, check out the poses I'm using in these pics. They are by Nani Poses and will be available tomorrow at The Black Market. If you've never tried Nani Poses, you definitely need to. Not only does she make great simple poses like these ones, she also makes adorable props and is in quite a few discounted events. If you're a pose whore like me, you need to stop by and scoop these babies up.
On a non SL related front, not that you've probably noticed unless you are a Blogger blogger but the page views have reset themselves. I asked around on SL and no one had noticed but when I go on the Blogger help forums, it's happened to a lot of people so don't fear because they are fixing it. For those of living in the northern part of the United States,
autumn has arrived. The nights are getting cooler and longer and the
leaves are starting to change colors. Since it’s my favorite season, I
wanted to go out and take some pictures of the pretty foliage at the
local park. Uh oh, it looks like it’s going to rain. I hope I can get
some pictures in before the storm sets in but maybe I should take my
umbrella just in case. A girl can never be too careful you know!
As I wander down the path, I start to feel
the drip drop of a light rain falling on my head. Guess it’s time to
open up my umbrella so I stay dry! I mean, I don’t want to ruin my hair,
do I? Oh well, I don’t think I’ll be taking many pictures today but
maybe I can enjoy short walk. The rain isn’t really that bad, just a
slight drizzle and the cool autumn breeze feels so good on my cheeks.
