Lotus

On the day when the lotus bloomed, alas, my mind was straying,
and I knew it not. My basket was empty and the flower remained unheeded.

Only now and again a sadness fell upon me, and I started up from my
dream and felt a sweet trace of a strange fragrance in the south wind.

That vague sweetness made my heart ache with longing and it seemed to
me that is was the eager breath of the summer seeking for its completion.

Wintery Friends

Hey all! Long time no see! I've been a little busy with work and super tired the last few nights so I haven't had the chance to blog but I wanted to show off these adorable friend themed poses that Nani has out for Winter Trend. This event features lots of wintery cuteness and runs till December 13th so be sure to check it out. I absolutely fell in love with these chipmunk poses called Snuggly. They come with two attachable chipmunks just perfect for a wintery friend look.

And if you're into human friends more, Nani also has out a cute couples pose that I think works perfectly with friend pics as well called Snug. I grabbed one of my wives to pose pretty with me to show it off. Say hi to Jordan everyone! Yes, she's wife #3 but I love her just as much as the others. :D

Fall Into Fall With Al Vulo

Well, September is here and that means Autumn soon will be too. On SL, it seems like Autumn has already started and that's perfectly fine with me because it's my favorite season. I love the warm, rich colors of the foliage and the cool, crisp weather so much. Good thing for me that this round of Collabor88 has a Fall Into Fall theme this round so there were lots of goodies for me to pick up to prepare for the upcoming season like this fabulous wool coat by Ison and this vibrant satin skirt by ur favorite one.

Piggy Island

As all of you know, The Arcade is in full swing right now with all of its gacha goodness to be had but did you also know there is a The Arcade photo contest happening too? This contest guarantees the first place winner and one friend early access to the next round plus tons of other fabulous prizes from your favorite Arcade stores. It's like a dream come true for some lucky photographer so I figured I'd take my chances and enter this time. I have a slight obsession with pigs in RL. I think they are super adorable so when I saw that Ohmai has made teacup piglets for their gacha, I just had to get me a few and then a little bit of boredom at work led to this scene. I call it Piggy Island in my head. They look like they're having fun, don't they?

Beachcombing

Hey all! OMG! I am super excited! You see, it's like this. When I saw the cutesy ur favorite one overalls at this round of Collabor88, I got this idea to do a beachcombing blog post complete with a bucket full of shells. I thought it would be a totally adorable idea to do as a blog post but I was super emo sad to see that there were no beachcomber pose props around so I started begging people to do a custom job for me. Lucky for me, Nikki Wildmist of Demise of Flight thought the idea sounded fun and whipped them up for me super quick. When I saw the completed project, I was soooo happy because they are just what I pictured in my head and she added a color hud for the pail plus she included a bonus pail that moves with your AO. I couldn't have asked for anything else with this little set so I just had to run right out and take the pic I've been dreaming of. If you want to do your own beachcomber post, be sure to run to Demise of Flight and pick these adorable little pose props up! I love her so much for making them for me that I just had to partner her for a few days. *Giggles*

Set Fire To The Rain

Today was an emotional day for me on SL. I'm trying to walk away from the hope I had for someone to change but I realized you can't change people's feelings if they don't want it so I had to finally give up. It's frustrating and I'm hurt but all I can do is let go and hope that the broken pieces of my heart will mend eventually with time. Even though I wasn't technically in a "relationship" with this person, they were one of my best friends and I will miss what we had.

Moving on from my personal vent, ur favorite one has out this pretty sweater dress conveniently named Set Fire To The Rain. Autumn In Innocence

Hi readers! I've got a quick LOTD post for you with some cuteness I picked up from ur favorite one at Collabor88. This beautifully textured cardigan and dress number make me feel like a schoolgirl and since Autumn means back to school for most, I figured I'd show it off at the lovely Vespertine sim everyone has been blogging from. If you haven't visited this sim yet, be sure to. I only walked a little ways in and was stunned by the gorgeous work this designer did. I am sure I'll be back to explore some more.

This pretty skin I'm wearing is the newest release by Censored. In my opinion, Censored makes the cutest blonde skins and this one is no exception. It comes with 7 different makeups, one of which is a base skin, and a bonus lipcolor. The last skin in the closeups is the bonus lipstick layered on the base skin and my absolute fave of them all. I love the softness of the features of this skinnie so much that I just wanna stay a blonde forever. Speaking of Censored, check out these awesome poses I used for this post. They are also newness from Censored. I loves me some poses and these ones fit my body perfectly so it's a double bonus! Yay!
