Autumn In Innocence

Hi readers! I've got a quick LOTD post for you with some cuteness I picked up from ur favorite one at Collabor88. This beautifully textured cardigan and dress number make me feel like a schoolgirl and since Autumn means back to school for most, I figured I'd show it off at the lovely Vespertine sim everyone has been blogging from. If you haven't visited this sim yet, be sure to. I only walked a little ways in and was stunned by the gorgeous work this designer did. I am sure I'll be back to explore some more.

This pretty skin I'm wearing is the newest release by Censored. In my opinion, Censored makes the cutest blonde skins and this one is no exception. It comes with 7 different makeups, one of which is a base skin, and a bonus lipcolor. The last skin in the closeups is the bonus lipstick layered on the base skin and my absolute fave of them all. I love the softness of the features of this skinnie so much that I just wanna stay a blonde forever. Speaking of Censored, check out these awesome poses I used for this post. They are also newness from Censored. I loves me some poses and these ones fit my body perfectly so it's a double bonus! Yay! Oh, since I started including location urls to the places I blog from, I was wondering if I should also include what WL I use. If you read this and want to know what WL I use, just leave a comment. I am a huge fan of WL's even if my laptop's graphics aren't that good and love to play around with them but I know when I'm reading other blogs and see a pretty pic that I sometimes wonder what WL they are using. Drift Into Autumn

So as soon as I saw this coat on Flickr, I knew I'd have to have it. It's the newest mesh release by a store new to the grid called Drift. This trench coat is part of her Autumn collection and comes with 4 different colors included that are reminiscent of the upcoming season for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. I loved how soft the texture looked on this coat in the pictures I saw and I'm happy to report that it looks just as good in person if not better and for once, I'm rocking an XXS size. Don't ask me how but I guess the way the fabric drapes my body was forgiving in all the right spots. *Giggles* If you haven't checked out Drift yet, be sure to because this is definitely a store you want to keep your eye on. Everything they have on Marketplace so far looks beautiful and I can't wait to see more in their newly opened inworld store.

Since Autumn is my favorite season, I decided to take a walk in the park. I love hearing the crunch of the fallen leaves under my feet as the cool breeze blows across my face. I stopped to admire these pumpkins that someone carved into fun jack o lantern's for one of my favorite upcoming holidays and then I decided to relax on this bench. As you can see, we are slowly drifting into Autumn and I'm loving it.

Live From The 2011 Christmas Expo

The 2011 Christmas Expo opens tomorrow and features four regions of Christmasy goodness. From entertainment to shopping, there is plenty of seasonal goodness to be had. This event is in support of Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society and runs till December 18th. I had the privilege of getting a sneak peek of all the holiday inspired items that make up The 2011 Christmas Expo. I'm showing a little glimpse with this adorable house called The Christmas House from Heart Homes. This little house features rezzable Christmas decorations as well as winter inspired scenery. I love how you have the option of easy decorating as well as leaving it bare. This makes it a versatile choice for any homeowner. Featuring a 26x22 footprint and 118 prims, this house really shows the rustic-like feel of an old fashioned Christmas.

Let's Play in the Leaves!

Magnifique Poses just released a new autumn inspired group gift. It's a single pose with leaves that you get to toss up in the air. I think it's perfect for this time of year and since I'm so silly, I just had to show it off. If you're not in the Magnifique VIP group, you're really missing out because she puts out the most fabulous group gifties.

I'm also showing off some awesome fall inspired pieces I've picked up through TOSL. Lauria released these adorable Falling for Fall earrings that I just fell in love with and had to build an outfit around. There is also a matching necklace available so get to Lauria and pick these up. I'm also wearing these cute boots from Baby Monkey that were a past TOSL item and some awesome makeup that will be available for the upcoming Fall inspired TOSL from Indie Rose. Indie Rose has created a HUD where you can just select the makeup combination that you want and get the folder. I love it because it gives you so many different combinations.

To end this blog post, I'm showing off the previously released Journey Home poses from Magnifique as well. This pose set includes 5 poses complete with some nicely textured luggage props. Freestylin'

This past week, I've hit more shopping events and stores than I'd ever thought was possible. I blame my new blogging job at theRumor.biz which I love by the way. I've learned about so many stores and found some really cute items. I was kindly invited to the Taste of Second Life Bloggers group and got so many cute review items that I started showing off the other day but I wanted to show another today plus the newest group giftie from Delusions. This weekend, the theme is Freestylin' for TOSL and I guess that's what I am doing today since my items are from a bunch of different places. Anyways, on with the pics!

First, I have to talk about this purty dress I got from stickyfingers. Stickyfingers is a new store to me but their style reminds me of how I'm most comfy on Second Life. Before blogging, I'd usually run around in a cute mini and heels and this adorable minidress available in 6 colors for 100 lindens each just fits the bill of my past style perfectly so it was nice to get back in touch with the old Kis. I felt bad the other day when I showed off these Baby Monkey heels called Melissa because I felt the pics didn't do them justice so here is a closeup of the stilettos so you get a better idea of what they look like.

Finally, I topped this look off with this cool tattoo called Pretty Little Liar that is the newest group giftie at Delusions. Be sure to join their subscriber group to receive this. It comes in two different tones: fresh and faded and although I'm not a liar, I just thought it was too cute. I am also showing off this little froggie condom that I picked up at a gatcha festival. I thought it was the one at the ALBERO Summer Gatcha Festival but it's just one that is similar. Initially I thought it was cute but then someone pointed out that it was aimed at kids and a little creepy so now I'm having mixed feelings on it.

A TOSL Preview

Hi all! I'm giving you a little preview of some of the fabulous items that will be placed on sale Saturday at 12:00 A.M. for TOSL. This week's theme is Freestylin so that means there is a little something for everybody. The things I've gotten my hands on so far are beautifully done and range from furniture to jewelry.

First, I have to talk about this beautiful couch that will be available at Dreamscapes Art Gallery. It's country styled and comes with both single and couple poses. I love the texturing, so realistic, and the accessories that come with it (Not pictured) match so perfectly.

I also managed to get a peek at this soft and comfy off the shoulder top in Lilac that will be out at Izzie's. If you've never been to Izzie's and you like comfortable yet stylish clothing, Izzie's is for you. I paired my new top with this totally cute wishbone necklace from Collisions and some sexy stilettos from Baby Monkey (sorry you really can't see them but they have a lot of options so definitely worth looking at) to complete my relaxing look.

As I said, all of these items are upcoming Taste of Second Life sales so be sure to get ready for some late night bargain hunting. You certainly don't want to pass these deals up!
