Fifties Inspired w/Sticky Fingers

Vintage Fair is on in full throttle and I got the privilege of showing off Sticky Finger's release for this event. My Ballet Baby Doll Dress is available in 3 colors and features a fiftish vibe with a full tea length style skirt and tight bodice. This dress reminds me of something June Cleaver would wear to a cocktail party. This simply done dress features an amazing brocade style texture and little leather belt to make it pop. If you haven't been to Sticky Finger's Vintage Fair booth, drop on by and pick this little number up.

I've paired my pretty new Vintage Fair dress with this poppy necklace from Collisions for TOSL. TOSL features a salute to heroes theme this week and this necklace is available in white, symbolizing peace, and red, symbolizing rememberance. Let's Play in the Leaves!

Magnifique Poses just released a new autumn inspired group gift. It's a single pose with leaves that you get to toss up in the air. I think it's perfect for this time of year and since I'm so silly, I just had to show it off. If you're not in the Magnifique VIP group, you're really missing out because she puts out the most fabulous group gifties.

I'm also showing off some awesome fall inspired pieces I've picked up through TOSL. Lauria released these adorable Falling for Fall earrings that I just fell in love with and had to build an outfit around. There is also a matching necklace available so get to Lauria and pick these up. I'm also wearing these cute boots from Baby Monkey that were a past TOSL item and some awesome makeup that will be available for the upcoming Fall inspired TOSL from Indie Rose. Indie Rose has created a HUD where you can just select the makeup combination that you want and get the folder. I love it because it gives you so many different combinations.

To end this blog post, I'm showing off the previously released Journey Home poses from Magnifique as well. This pose set includes 5 poses complete with some nicely textured luggage props. When You Feel All Alone....

The title is kind of how I've been feeling lately, in SL anyways. I don't know, I guess everyone has times when it's not fun for them anymore and I've been feeling that way lately. I guess it's because I keep my friendships to a minimum and only talk to a few people on here. Blogging seems to be the only fun outlet I've found on here lately. I'd like to dedicate this blog to my closest SL friends, you know who you are. As long as I'm on SL, I'll be here for you in the same way that you've been here for me. These pics are just my LOTD. Nothing special but I think the dress is pretty especially since it was free. Now I'm going to get back to my wallowing in self pity.

A Grenade Free Wednesday Look

Today, I went visiting the Jersey Shore sim. The last time I was there, it was a seaside town reminiscent of Ocean City or Seaside Heights, New Jersey but I recently found out that the previous owner had left Second Life and that Holli Thespian of Holli Pocket is the new owner. Doesn't matter though because most of the stores are still the same and she's picked up quite a few new vendors whom I absolutely love. It looks like the Jersey Shore will remain a one stop shopping spot for me especially on Wednesdays because I absolutely enjoy a good sale and Grenade Free Wednesdays features one select item from each of the Jersey Shore stores for under 75 lindens.

Since the sim is in transition, not all of the stores had Grenade Free Wednesday items out but I managed to snag this soft cotton koala bear tank top that could double as a short dress. I paired it with my favorite black joggers from KHUSH and decided to show off these laid back poses I picked up from Lauria.
