We're Building It Up

Hey all! I've got a looksie at Ploom's release for the Skin Addiction Showcase. This pale skin complete with red eye makeup and neutral lips is called Lea Dahlia and comes in 5 tones plus optional cleavage layers plus prim lashes. She's a pretty girl so you'll want to head on over to try her own for yourself.

I'm also showing off the newness from Plastik and Zombie Suicide. This top from Plastik comes in 4 packs of 3 and is mesh cuteness. I like the simple stripes of this one the best but there are lots of other fun patterns to be had. My piercings and color customizable necklace are from Zombie Suicide. The piercings are supposed to be male only but I think they work for me too and I love being able to switch out the dice and bead colors with this necklace. If you need some newness, be sure to hit up both of these stores.

Finishing up my LOTD is the newest group gift from Truth. I jumped for joy when I opened up the box and saw this basic mesh ponytail waiting for me. Gotta love when Truth spoils us with a present! Oh and Frooti is having a pose sale for a limited time so of course I had to hit them up for some cheap but fabulous poses.

I Like A Little Spright

So a new store has popped up on the grid, well specifically at Culture Shock now. It's name is Spright and I've got some adorable mesh to show off. This little dress called Inspire is one of the first releases from this store and comes in 5 color combos. I loved the light airy feel of this dress and the simple ruffles of the bodice so much that I just had to show this number off right away. If you're interested in seeing the other color combinations, head on over to Culture Shock and pick this pretty number up. I can't wait to see what else is in store for this new store. :D Yes, enjoy my dorky rhyme.

I'm also showing off some new eye makeup from Blacklace Beauty. This little makeup pack features a full face makeup plus separate shadow and blush/gloss layers and comes in 6 colors. I'm showing off some shadow from the Peaches pack. It also features gloss and blush (not shown) so there are lots of options to mix and match with. I love putting makeups on my base tone skins and Blacklace Beauty never fails to make me look purty.

Lily Gives Me Redemption

The other day while goofing off on Plurk someone threw up links to a Flickr page featuring a newly built sim. Curiosity got the best of me and after drooling over the pics, I had to go visit this darkly beautiful place. It's called Redemption Hill and I think the talented creator of this sim is still working on it but it was open to the public and I got to check it out. I love the attention to detail that has been put into this sim so much that I'm sure I'll be back to take many more pics. Since I wanted to blog this artistically detailed tattoo by Rezipsa Loc that she has out for Culture Shock, I figured this was the perfect place to take pics. I think that the intricate rosary design and wings go well with the desolate and lonely feel of this place.

Noises, I Play Within My Head

So I came across a new store and I have to say I'm in seriously like and can't wait to see what else they put out. The store is called [Avoid] and they just opened but feature so much mesh goodness in the form of cutesy 80's inspired accessories so far. I'm showing off this My Little Pony lunchbox because who doesn't love ponies but there are lots of other adorable designs for both girls and boys so be sure to search for this store and go get your own lunchbox. I might share what's inside but you're not getting my pail.

Also, Keep Calm & Keep Shopping opens in just four days and I got a looksie of one of the bright tops being offered by Coloreta's for this event. This top comes in 3 colors and matches a skirt that they will also have out for the event but we all know I like shorts better. I paired it with these new mesh boots from Pepper that are available in 4 colors. Keep your eye out for more goodness from both this event and this store because both offer so many great things. Summer Beauty Festival Is In Swing

So while everyone else is going on and on about Culture Shock, I figured I'd give you a little glimpse at some cutesy makeups that are available at Summer Beauty Festival. Summer Beauty Festival started May 1st and will run till the 25th. Featuring exclusive makeups as well as fun and games, this event sure isn't one that you want to miss. I figured I'd show off two of my favorites from this event. First up, Izzie's has out these colorful glitter eyeshadows complete with liner. These fun makeups come in a 20 pack but I'm just showing off a few of my favorites.

I'm also rocking these nails by Pididdle that are available at the event as well. When I opened the package and saw these fun patterns, I just knew I had to wear them. Even though I'm usually not a fan of prim nails, I haven't taken these ones off. I absolutely love the crackled texturing of the pair in this hud so check them out and head on over to this awesome event.

Let's Get Culture Shocked!

Culture Shock opens tomorrow at 4PM SLT and there is lots of shopping to be done. Sponsored by Modavia Productions, this event features over 180 fabulous stores each with an exclusive item to raise money for the charity, Doctors Without Borders. This event aims to bring a little bit of the designer's real life cultures to Second Life and will run till May 26th so be sure to stop on over and support an awesome cause.

Since the event's designs are a reflection of real life aspects, I've decided to show off a bunch of goodies in my favorite color. Yes, it's shocking yellow! I love the warm and happy feeling I get when I have this color around me so I was happy to see lots of yellow goodness at this event. The dress I'm wearing is from Koketka and is mesh. I love the casual feel of this dress so much and I knew I had to blog it because I actually have this dress in real life. Lol! I paired it with this beautifully done skin by Akeruka as well as these fabulous heels that are free at the event from G Field and this fun pose prop accessory from Sparrowtree Studios. If you're looking for some fantastic shopping finds, you'll definitely want to rush right over to Culture Shock when it opens because everything is fabulously done and as I said up there, it's for charity! Oh, and if you do decide to go, be sure to lower your scripts because you won't be able to TP there unless you are low lag. It's going to be packed so you can't help but want to follow this rule.
