Hi readers! I've got some goodies to show you that will be available at the upcoming Fashion Voodoo event on August 10th by Plastik. Plastik's releases for this event have blown me away. I'm loving this pinstriped skirt so much I don't ever want to take it off. They also have a dress, earrings, and another top and skirt out exclusive for the event so be sure to check out their booth at this event.

In other news, today is a good picture taking day for me. As some of you know, I'm my worst critic and usually wind up hating the pictures I take. Today was an exception though and I'm sooooo happy with the way these turned out. I partially think it's due to this awesome sim. It's called Redemption Hill and if you're looking for an eerie place to take pictures, you should check this one out because it's so well done and there are plenty of interesting areas to take shots at. It's definitely in my top 10 fave sims on the grid and I'm absolutely certain you'll love it too!

We're Building It Up

Hey all! I've got a looksie at Ploom's release for the Skin Addiction Showcase. This pale skin complete with red eye makeup and neutral lips is called Lea Dahlia and comes in 5 tones plus optional cleavage layers plus prim lashes. She's a pretty girl so you'll want to head on over to try her own for yourself.

I'm also showing off the newness from Plastik and Zombie Suicide. This top from Plastik comes in 4 packs of 3 and is mesh cuteness. I like the simple stripes of this one the best but there are lots of other fun patterns to be had. My piercings and color customizable necklace are from Zombie Suicide. The piercings are supposed to be male only but I think they work for me too and I love being able to switch out the dice and bead colors with this necklace. If you need some newness, be sure to hit up both of these stores.

Finishing up my LOTD is the newest group gift from Truth. I jumped for joy when I opened up the box and saw this basic mesh ponytail waiting for me. Gotta love when Truth spoils us with a present! Oh and Frooti is having a pose sale for a limited time so of course I had to hit them up for some cheap but fabulous poses.

Noises, I Play Within My Head

So I came across a new store and I have to say I'm in seriously like and can't wait to see what else they put out. The store is called [Avoid] and they just opened but feature so much mesh goodness in the form of cutesy 80's inspired accessories so far. I'm showing off this My Little Pony lunchbox because who doesn't love ponies but there are lots of other adorable designs for both girls and boys so be sure to search for this store and go get your own lunchbox. I might share what's inside but you're not getting my pail.

Also, Keep Calm & Keep Shopping opens in just four days and I got a looksie of one of the bright tops being offered by Coloreta's for this event. This top comes in 3 colors and matches a skirt that they will also have out for the event but we all know I like shorts better. I paired it with these new mesh boots from Pepper that are available in 4 colors. Keep your eye out for more goodness from both this event and this store because both offer so many great things. Let's Get Culture Shocked!

Culture Shock opens tomorrow at 4PM SLT and there is lots of shopping to be done. Sponsored by Modavia Productions, this event features over 180 fabulous stores each with an exclusive item to raise money for the charity, Doctors Without Borders. This event aims to bring a little bit of the designer's real life cultures to Second Life and will run till May 26th so be sure to stop on over and support an awesome cause.

Since the event's designs are a reflection of real life aspects, I've decided to show off a bunch of goodies in my favorite color. Yes, it's shocking yellow! I love the warm and happy feeling I get when I have this color around me so I was happy to see lots of yellow goodness at this event. The dress I'm wearing is from Koketka and is mesh. I love the casual feel of this dress so much and I knew I had to blog it because I actually have this dress in real life. Lol! I paired it with this beautifully done skin by Akeruka as well as these fabulous heels that are free at the event from G Field and this fun pose prop accessory from Sparrowtree Studios. If you're looking for some fantastic shopping finds, you'll definitely want to rush right over to Culture Shock when it opens because everything is fabulously done and as I said up there, it's for charity! Oh, and if you do decide to go, be sure to lower your scripts because you won't be able to TP there unless you are low lag. It's going to be packed so you can't help but want to follow this rule.
