The Video Interpretation Challenge: Sober

Hi all and welcome to the first week of our musically themed challenge, The Video Interpretation Challenge. Thanks for bearing with me. I know I said I'd do a formal post yesterday but alas, RL got in the way so I'm a day late. Hopefully you'll forgive me though! :D This week's video, Sober by Pink, was submitted by the lovely Iri. As soon as I saw it on the list of suggestions, I had to double check the video out because I knew the lyrics were some of my faves. The song kind of rings true to me because I am that girl that has to fill the silence. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm completely random and I will keep on talking just to talk. The quiet does scare me! Anyways, enough rambling about me and why I chose to do this song first. On with my pic! Music inspires us everyday. No matter if we're sad, angry, happy, or in love, we can always find some song to relate to. Since music is such a huge part of our lives, I thought we could do a fun, new blogger's challenge. As some of you know from reading my blog, I sometimes like to copy music video looks as closely as I can to see what I can come up with on SL. My challenge to you all is to participate alongside me and see what kind of look you'll come up with based on the music video of the week. And since everyone's taste in music is different, I'd like to open up a suggestion box so you can get the chance to duplicate one of your favorite song's looks. Such A Sweet Treat

Hey all! Hope you all had a fun Cinco de Mayo! Mine was super busy so I'm gonna be short and sweet here just like my lingerie. Blacklace has out this tasty little camisole set for its TGIF special this week. It's only 99L and comes with both the system layer opinions as well as mesh ones for all three pieces so you can choose how you want to wear it. When You're Ready, Come and Get It

*sings loudly* Yes, I have this Selena Gomez song stuck in my head. I think it's gonna be there forever. It's a  catchy little tone. Anyways, as soon as I saw this rainbow hair on the feeds, I had to go buy this color pack of the previously blogged Exile hair, You've Got The Love. I love colors and when I saw all these pretty pastel ones all blended together, I just about died inside and started building a look around it with various goodies I picked up at shopping events this week. The result is what you see below. Enjoy!

Wistful: Some More Little Big Hunt Prizes

I was in an artsy mood tonight. Decided to mess around with WL. Not one that I made from scratch but a Mescaline one that I tweaked a little to my liking. I wanted to show a softer side of Kis that not many get to see. I hide her deep down but lately she's been making more of an appearance.

Anyways, as I said in my last post, The Little Big Hunt has started and has wonderful prizes. I've got two more to show off today. Sassy has out this pretty maxi dress in one of my fave colors. This dress has a delicate floral screening to it but it's very simple and versatile so be sure to grab it. Also, my necklace is Sweet Leonard's prize for this hunt and features a cutesy little bird hiding in a birdhouse. I think this necklace goes fantastic with the dress so when you're out hunting for the dress, stop by Sweet Leonard and grab the necklace too!

The Little Big Hunt Has Started

The Little Big Hunt started yesterday and runs till May 30th. Featuring over 30 stores, this hunt has themed prizes that are either little or big things. I'm showing off a cute little outfit I put together with Demise of Flight's basic tanktop with a fun elephant on it and Purple Moon's mini that comes with a hud allowing you to change it out to 6 different patterns. I think they go pretty awesomely together. Don't you agree? Oh and if you're more of a furniture fan, Circa has out this fantastic bookcase complete with everything you see shown on it as well as comfy cushions (not shown) that you can sit on.
