Hi bloggers! Today I'm featuring a new skin from one of my favorite skin designers on Second Life. If you guessed Filthy, you're right. Annabelle is her name and yes, again, I'm in love. She comes in three tones, pale, tan, and dark. I'm going to show you the pales. From the soft pink lips and pale eyeshadow of Douce to the sky blue eyeshadow and pretty pink lips of Candy, Annabelle offers a skin for all so run over to Filthy, join their VIP group because as I've said before, she puts out fabulous group gifts, and snag these skins.

By the way, these skins were not modified in any way but a tattoo layer of eyelashes. I'm using the special Filthy sky setting as well as the pale cleavage option to feature these skins.

We've all purchased a skin based on the pretty face just to strip ourselves naked and realize the terrible mistake. *Giggles*

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Teal

Arr, me hearties! This week's Color Challenge is teal. Teal is one of my favorite colors to wear both in SL and RL so I was super happy to see it come up this week. I have loads of teal in my inventory so of course, I had to make the difficult decision of what to feature but I wanted to have a little fun with my blog as usual so I found this pirate outfit by Deviance and went swashbucklin' the high seas.

I found this fun pirate pose on the Marketplace by Poise that was free! Omg! I love free poses! It fits in with this look so well and can help me to frighten off any scallywags that may try to steal my booty.

Of course, all pirates need to relax from their life of plundering so I decided to sit for awhile on this barrel. Now, enjoy my feature of teal or you be walking the plank! Yo-ho-ho!!!

Shopping Is My Best Subject

Woohoo! Thank God it's Friday, Fifty Linden Friday that is! The cuteness is abound today and what better way to start off the weekend than with a good sale. Of course, this is taking away from an essay I'm supposed to write in real life but shopping is always a girl's best subject.

I found this adorable dress at one of my first stops, Elate. It is so cute and comes with two different colored tops in turquoise and black so you can wear it either way. I chose the black because I am going to be blogging a similar shade in the green family later on this week and wanted to mix it up a bit. Hmmm, who knows maybe someone can use the turquoise top for the teal Color Challenge this week. I know it says turquoise but it looks more teal to me. I also found three really cute hairstyles while shopping but since I'm trying to limit myself I bought the one I like best. Clawtooth has really done a great job with both of their Fifty Linden Friday options this week but since I'm usually a redhead on Second Life, Cosmic Love won the battle. Fri.day also has an adorable hair out so if you're looking for some adorable hairstyles be sure to check out both these stores.

Awhile back, I found this totally cute freebie at Magic Nook. It's perfect for me today as I'm putting off doing school stuff and it comes with these two fun book props as well as a pencil, study table, and chair. I can't believe the quality of this freebie! A Day Late

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. The day we spend with the ones we love. Lucky for me, the one I love is also on Second Life so I got the spend the night just relaxing and talking to him. Found this quiet but pretty SIM with dancing and just hung out for an hour or two. It's something we don't get to do often because RL gets in the way or I'm off doing something like hosting or shopping. Anyways, it was a nice night and I'm lucky to have such a great partner. Happy belated Valentine's Day blog readers!

Project Themeory @ Grixdale

Last night, I decided to check out this week's Project Themeory collection. The theme is Will You Be My Valentine and even though I think I'm pretty over all the pink and red hearts, I couldn't pass up this find from Grixdale. I've never been to Grixdale before but have read about it in other fashion blogs. (Yes, blame it on me being a new blogger!) I found the store to have some gorgeous stuff but alas I was lagging as usual so I just scooped up this pretty prairie skirt and vest with tank combo. It's not the normal bright pink you see for Valentine's Day but instead is a dark rose paired with grey. It's available now till 11:59 P.M. tonight so run over to Grixdale and buy it!

 

The necklace I'm wearing I found on the Marketplace and guys if you are reading this (Probably not, but...), it's the perfect present for all budgets. It's a silver key on a chain, supposedly the key to your heart and it's scripted so that when you click it you can read off a poem or a special message. I put 1 Corinthians in mine and it works perfectly. It's only available on the Marketplace and it's only 35 lindens! Plus, it comes in gold and I believe some other options so be sure to check it out!
