Look of the Day

Just a quick post to show off this super cute dress from Artilleri and this breathtaking dark skin from Al Vulo. I'm not a fan of darker skins but Matilde is beautiful and totally free so why not give a darker skin a try?

Now onto the dress.... one day my SL sister Jules told me she was shopping at her absolute favorite store so I asked her for a tp and wound up at Artilleri. I could instantly tell why this store was one of her favorites and fell in love with all the cute retro clothing they had to offer. I think I blew like 300 lindens in my first two minutes there but the things I picked up were just too adorable to pass up. This dress was the first thing I was drawn to but alas, it got buried in my inventory and forgotten till today. I'm so glad I found it and get the chance to show it off. Love Child

Just a quick post before I go hug my pillow. Last week, Belleza sent out a beautiful group gift named "Aiko". I'm sure most of you have seen it but today, I found another Aiko by Lara Hurley. I've never purchased a Lara Hurley skin before so when I heard they had a freebie as their subscriber gift, I tped over to check them out. Lara Hurley's Aiko is Asian inspired as well but with bright bubblegum lips and matching pink and yellow eyeshadow. It's absolutely flawless and didn't even need a mascara tattoo layer like a lot of skins I've come across so this means you have more makeup opinions if you're not on a viewer that supports more than one tattoo layer like I am. I found out that Aiko means love child and child, I'm in love! Lol!

My absolute favorite skin designer has decided to branch out and is now featuring some sexy clothing and costumes to go with her skins so when Alexandra Barcelos of Filthy dropped us bloggers her newest clothing releases, I just had to open them right up. Of course, I wasn't let down and just had to show off this sexy tank top and low rise jeans that are part of her new clothing line. The bright pink of this top goes perfectly with my new skin so of course I'm super happy. Well bloggers, it's past my bed time. ZzzzzZ!

Procrastinator is one word to describe me....

Hello bloggers! Since everyone in my family works on the holidays, I usually celebrate them a day late. It's just another excuse that I can use to put off doing stuff I should do at an earlier time. Since yesterday was Mother's Day here, I'm celebrating today and of course, there is no better way to celebrate SL style than with a hunt so I decided to check out the Mother's Day Hunt. Most of the stuff I found was of no interest to me beings I'm not a mother on SL but I stumbled across this gorgeous ethereal gown by Alloro. I'm a sucker for anything that flows so I just had to show off it. The color is called Honeysuckle. I always thought of honeysuckle as a green or yellow tone but this gown is a pretty mauvish color with black accents. If I were you, I'd zoom over to Alloro and snatch this up before the hunt is over on June 8th.

I've never visited this store but they have a Lucky Board and a Midnight Mania one as well for those of you who are on a budget. I'll definitely be back when I'm not on a budget.

After picking up this gown, I hopped over to Mamboo Chic and camped out at their Lucky Board to snatch up this absolutely gorgeous skin that is one of their two Lucky Board prizes. Sarah is a slightly rosy cheeked skin with light melon lips that is absolutely perfect especially beings it's free! The only issue I have with it is that the nipples are a little dark for my liking but other than that, it's flawless. Here is a close up:

Back Off! I'll take you on!

For those of you who know me, you know I'm never one to turn down a challenge so when my partner, RH, challenged me to make an av that was hot and cost nothing to make, I jumped right on it. I went about this the easiest a.k.a. least laggiest way I could and hit up the Marketplace. There was so much stuff that I loaded my new avatar up with lots of clothing and accessories but when you get to the goodies, I believe hunts provide the best quality goodies for free so I stopped off, visited a few that are running, and picked myself up some awesome hair and an adorable skin. I present to you my newest alt, Madison.

I do admit that it's a lot harder to make a hot av than it seems on zero lindens so I went and paid 6 lindens for a decent shape which I tweaked a bit and some eyeliner but in my opinion, 6 lindens is like zero lindens. I still think Madison turned out pretty good. What do you think?

So I came home from a much needed RL vacation and popped online to read some blogs and found out that the Where Is hunt was going on so I had to start it and I'm super glad I did.
